The Four

By the time it is time for bed everybody knows that I have naturally purple eyes and naturally blond hair. I walk to my bedroom and climb into bed. I will have Jaxson turn off all of the lights. I cover myself up with the blanket and cuddle my pillow. I love this bed so much. I must have dozed off because I am being woken up by Jaxson climbing into bed. I groan and flip over to face the wall. I get comfortable and try to go back to sleep. I can't now, my demon is stirring. That shouldn't be happening, I haven't taken off my necklace. Crap! I have to do the goat blood thing. I groan and sit up. I want to do this now rather than later. I slid on some flip flops and go outside. Where am I going to get a goat? Maybe there is a farm nearby. I need somebodys help. Well there is a zoo nearby, I could have Scarlet turn us invisible so we can sneak in. Why not? I walk back inside and go to Scarlet's room. I slowly open her door and peek inside. Oh she is still awake. 

"Hey I have a favor to ask of you."

"Sure what is it?"

"Well it's about the necklace I wear keeps my demon at bay. Every month I have to put a drop of goat blood on it. The thing is the only place I know where goats are is the zoo. I was wondering if you would go with me and turn us invisible so that I could get a bit of blood for it. Please?"

"Oh yeah not a problem. Let's go."

I grab my car keys and start my car. I look up the directions for the zoo and start off. I find it really weird that I have to put goat blood on it but I mean whatever works. It takes us about fifteen minutes to get there. I park a few blocks away and grab Scarlet's hand. She turns us invisible and we begin our journey. We get to the entrance and see a security guard standing by the door. Well shit! How are we going to get in? I try to quickly think of something but can't. Scarlet tugs my arm and points over to the side. Yes there is an unguarded door. I walk over there and open the remarkably slow. Each time the guard looks over this way we stop. We finally open the door enough for us to slid through. We look around and try to figure out where the petting zoo is located. I find a map and look through it. Okay it is just past the penguins. 

We find the petting zoo pretty easily. I pen the pin for the goats and we enter. Aw they are so cute. I take out my knife and knick on in the leg. I get just enough blood on the tip of the knife to put on my necklace. I pick up the pendant and drop the goat blood on it. Almost instantly I feel better. I sigh and nod at Scarlet to let her know that worked. She smiles back and points to the penguin pens. I smile and nod my head. I mean why nit go and look at some of the animals while we are here. Oh my God! There are baby penguins and they are the cutest things ever. We look around the zoo for about thirty minutes before deciding that we need to go back home. We get to the car and climb in. I turn her on and look at the time, not bad it is only 12:47. I can still get a few hours of sleep before my meeting with Mr. Walters tomorrow, or well today. I drive back to the house and park my car. That was a lot of fun actually. 10/10 would do it again. It is weird walking and it being so quiet. I lock the front door and say goodnight to Scarlet. I climb back into bed and get comfortable.

"Where have you been?" Oh jeez! 

"Jaxson you just scared the shit out of me. Why are you awake?"

"You didn't answer my question. I am awake because I felt you leave."

"Me and Scarlet went for a drive, I couldn't sleep and apparently she couldn't either." I refuse to tell him that I broke into the zoo to get goat blood. "Now I have to wake up earlier than usual tomorrow so I am going to go to sleep. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I completely forgot that I am sharing a room with him. I don't think he bought the whole going for a drive thing. I will have to talk to him about it tomorrow. Right now I am going to try and go back to sleep.
