Chapter 9:Misunderstandings cleared?

"You people are impossible!" he said and pulled Taani's wrist and dragged her somewhere."bechariii...! taani sambalke" cried the girls and burst out laughing.He dragged her to the kitchen and left her and opened the refrigerator."reyansh aap yeh kya kar rahe hain?" she shouted completely frustrated."chup!" he said placing his index finger on her lips.Their eyes met. They remembered the day when Taani did the same on Shruthi's mehendi rasam. Unknowingly a smile crept on their faces.he took out some ice cubes and turned towards her."Aap juice banane wale hai?" she asked innocently looking at him.He smirked and took an ice cube and placed it on her bruise. She hissed. She didn't know if it was pain or pleasure.She closed her eyes. He rubbed the ice cube on her bruise with complete concentration as if he was about to sign a deal. Soon she felt better and she openend her eyes. A smile crept on her face as she saw the wrist watch in his hands. Her joy knew no bounds. He saw her from the corner of his eyes. He felt relieved to see her smile. But she composed herself the moment she felt his gaze on her. "Taani..woh kal raat.." he was about to say."Kal raat kya hua Rey??..."Rey was startled and he dropped the ice cube he was holding. Taarey turned around and saw the entire gang standing there with a mischievious smile."Waise jo bhi hua.." said Neha"acha hi hua hoga.." completed Vicky"So dude plzzz go and get ready. Only you guys are left." warned Sharon."Haan... Just spare me 10 min" said taani and took a step forward when she slipped over the ice cube and Rey caught her safely by holding her waist."chemistryyy" shouted the entire gang in their traditional style.They were too embarrased and Taani ran away from there leaving behind Rey. He rustled his hair, and moved away from there.After sometime the gang waited in the hall and Rey reached there. The entire gang cheered him. He went and sat next to Swayam. The previous night's incident played in their minds. Their awkwardness was completely visible and the gang noticed it. "Shall we start?" asked Rey"Zara intezaar karo. Intezaar ka fal meeta hotha hai" commented Sharon.The gang looked at her with a weird expression."What?" she asked."Sharon and hindi proverb??" said Bharat with his eyebrows raised."Nah..." Neither of them could understand what was going on! Whatever" said Vicky took his position back praying God about the after effects. Soon everyone started taking sides and supported either Rey or Swayam. While Swayam and Rey were trying to put down the fight Sharon stood there completely speechless looking at the chaos.Suddenly everyone became quiet and looked at Sharon."What?" she asked."Ab Sharon tu kiski side legi??" asked Bharat raising his eyebrows."Apni best friend ki??" asked Neil"Ya apni boy friend ki??" completed Amar.Rey and Swayam were Shell shocked. On the other hand Sharon stood there as if she was paralysed. She looked at Rey and then to Swayam who were sanding there at the extreme ends and then at the gang who looked at her intensely with their hands on their hips."woh...""Wow.." exclaimed Sharon and soon everyone's attention turned to the direction where Sharon pointed her fingers.They could see nothing.She tried to escape at that time but the gang caught her and started pulling her from either sides shouting "Best friend!" and the other side shouting "Boy friend". Boys lifted Rey and Swayam and everyone were enjoying. Taani who got ready by the time came out of the room only to find the gang super excited. Her eyes were transfixed on Rey. A smile crept on her face automatically seeing him smile. She felt she could do anything to keep the smile fixed on his face."Wow..Pretty!" cried Sharon noticing Taani and the gang looked at her.Rey raised his head and looked at the stairs. He saw Taani standing there.She was wearing a simple jeans with a sleeveless top. Rey had never seen her like that Since their marriage, he could see her only in traditional dresses or business wears. Probably that was because they never went for any casual trips. He noticed that the bruises had disappeared from her shoulders. A smile crept on his face."Hi Taani" cried the gang and welcomed her."OK guys we should start now." shouted Swayam and the gang shouted "ooo...".Soon the music began and Every one were excited and took their back packs and towards the car.They took two jeeps. Rey drove one and Sharon made Taani sit besides her when She found Taani moving to the back. Simmi, Neil, Bharat, RInni took the back seats while Swayam drove the other jeep with Sharon besides him and Vicky, Neha, Amar and Vishaka joined them. Taani took Maya in her lap and Maya was enjoying Taani's company. Swayam never left any opportunity to flirt with Sharon only to get caught by the gang. Rey and Swayam hugged each other and started playing. Soon the gang moved in a circle around Taarey. Rey took advantage of the opportunity as Taani couldn't escape.He held in ears and said sorry with a cute puppy face. The gang couldn't understand why Rey was asking sorry but Sharon indicated them to be quiet. So they continued dancing around Taarey enjoying themself. Taani couldn't hold back her anger anymore and smiled at him saying "that's Ok".He hugged her sideways and said Thanks pointing his wrist watch. After so many years they were like this once again. But it was Taani who noticed Maya missing. "Guys Maya kahan hai??" she asked.Soon everyone's attention went on Taani and it almost took them a minute to understand what she meant. Neha as the first one to react and she started shouting Maya's name. Neha was crying searching for Maya and Vishaka consoled her. Vicky was shouting Maya's name and started running here and there. He couldn't understand anything. There as a deep lake nearby and road on the other side with vehicles moving here and there and his daughter was missing. Neha hugged Vicky and begged him to bring back MAYA but Vicky couldn't even register what was going on. Swayam consoled him and started searching MAYA along with him. The girls consoled Neha who was crying bitterly. She cursed herself for enjoying without taking care of MAYA. All the guys went in some direction. But Taani decided to search her near the roads and started running there. Soon she could see a child walking on the road. She ran towards the kid and Rey followed her shouting Taani's name. But Taani did not wait for Rey.Yes! Taani's guess was right. The kid was none other than Maya. She ran towards Maya when she noticed a car racing in the opposite direction. Taani pushed Maya out of the way and as a reflex action, she stood on the road perplexed with fear, unable to move. Maya landed near Rey's and luckily she wasn't hurt because of the grass on the ground. But Rey stood there unable to decide whether to pick Maya or save Taani. The car was racing at a very high speed towards Taani that she couldn't move. On the other hand Rey was on the opposite side of the road and he couldn't make it to Taani due to the traffic. Soon Swaron, Neil, Bharat, Amar and Vicky reached there. Even they were shocked at the sight in front of them.
