Along Came Austin
Danneel Parker (Dani for short) is a thin, tall and quiet teacher from North Dakota. Her life is going nowhere until she meets Austin Scott, a smart, handsome man with a passion for farming. Dani takes an instant disliking to Austin and the violent and ruthless ways he learnt during his years in the city.
But, the pressures of Austin's job as a police officer leave him blind to Dani's affections and Dani takes up painting to try and distract herself. However, when she gets in a car accident, Austin springs to the rescue. Dani begins to notice that Austin is actually rather generous at heart.
Finally, when a selfish writer, Peyton Grey, threatens to come between them, Austin has to act fast. But will they ever find the incredible love that they deserve?
