Normani's POV
2 days later...
Im soooo excited that Dinah asked me out...well...asked me to hang out with her. We exchanged numbers at the carnival so she called me when she was on her way. I needed to find something to wear so I picked out some skinny jeans and just a T-shirt. Just something simple. A few minutes later, Dinah shows up at my door. I went to open it and all my eyes were paying attention to was her cleavage showing through her v neck shirt. She looked amazing for some one with just shorts and a v neck shirt.
"Hey Normani, you ready to go? "
"Yeah yea- yea- yeah!" I say snapping myself out of thoughts.
"Are you okay" Dinah said confused
"Yeah I'm fine let's just go" I say rushing out the door before this got even more awkward.
We both got into the car and she asked me where did I want to go.
"We could go to mall" I say not trying to sound nervous.
"Fine with me" she says agreeing with me.
A few minutes later we arrive at the mall. Dinah seemed pretty excited about going into this one store called Rue 21.
"C'mon Normani I saw this shirt on sale and I really need to buy it so hurry up! Dinah says grabbing my hand and running to the store.
"Here it is, theres two shirts, here" she says handing me the same shirt she has in her hand
"I'm gonna go try it on" I say walking to the dressing room.
I walk up to the worker that takes care of the dressing room and but there was a problem.
"Ma'am there is only one room available at the time so your friend would have to wait." The worker explained.
"Dinah do you mind waiting" I ask her.
"No! I mean. I wanted to take you to the movies and it starts at 8:35. Can we just share a room" Dinah's ask the store worker.
"I mean if you want to" she told the both of us.
"Come on Normani it's 7:38 now, if we share we can get to the movies on time" she said pushing me into the room. My breathing started to pick up.
Me and Dinah started to change in the room and I couldn't help but stare at her.
"Aren't you gonna put on your shirt Mani" Dinah says as she looked at her self in the mirror. " I'm cute" she says causing me to smirk. Her shirt fitted her perfectly.
As I start to put on my shirt I feel eyes on me. "What? " I say concerned
"Oh I uhm was looking a your belly piercing" Dinah says as her face starts to turn a bright red.
"Oh I just got it not to long ago actually" I say trying not to start awkwardness again and laughing softly.
"We look good in our shirts I think we should keep them on and just pay for it at the counter" Dinah suggested.
"Alright" I saying as I walked out the dressing room.
We paid for our shirts and I check the time.
"It's 8:14 we should head to the movies" I tell Dinah.
We got in the car and headed to the movies. We paid for our tickets to watch "Everything Everything" which was $7:00.
"Go find our seats. I'll pay for the snacks" I tell Dinah.
"Okay" she says walking off.
As I buy the snacks and start to find the movie, I spot Dinah. But she was hugging a boy. Oh noo. I thought to my self.
Dinah's POV
As I go find our seats for the movie. I spot some one familiar.
"Eric?" I yell.
"Baby!" He yells back running to me and picking me up.
"What are you doing here" I ask him giving him a kiss.
"I was here with my sister. She wanted to see Everything Everything".
"So am I. I'm with my friend Normani"
"I missed you so much" he says pulling me into a hug.
A few seconds later I see Normani out the corner of my eye.
"Oh,hey Normani. This is my boyfriend Eric, Eric this is Normani.
"B-boyfriend?" Normani says oddly
"You sound confused". I say a little concerned.
"Well i-i mean I thou-"
"Sorry to stop y'all conversation but it's 8:27 and the movies starts in 8 minutes" Eric says cutting off Normani.
"He's coming with us?" Normani asked a little irritated
"Yeah Normani what's up"
"Oh. Nothing I was just wondering" Normani said.
I looked at her for a few seconds then started to walk to the movie.
Normani's POV
Well this is not how I wanted to spend this day. I hoped the movie will get my mind off of it.
A few minutes into the movie I see Dinah and her Boyfriend cuddling with each other. So I get up and go to the bathroom. I couldn't stand to see them together
"Where you going Normani? " Dinah whispered.
"Bathroom" I whisper back.
"Oh I'm coming too"
We both left to go to the bathroom when Eric got up behind me. I felt a little uncomfortable for I started to push Dinah to walk a little faster. To pretend that I had to pee really bad. I then felt hands touch my booty. I turned around and saw Eric biting his lip and looking at my butt.
"What the heck are you doing" I yell at him.
"Dinah never put up a booty like that" he told me getting closer.
"No for real you need to go somewhere" I say looking for Dinah. I guess she ran off to the bathroom already.
"How about we ditch this movie and go somewhere private". Eric says grabbing my waist and putting his self against my butt.
"Eww no get off of me!" I yelled as Dinah walked out the bathroom
"Normani? " she said concerned with tears in her eyes.
"It-its not what it looks like!" I try to explain...
