Dinah's POV
I left Normani to go to the bathroom because I had to go pee really bad. I walk out he bathroom and the next thing I saw was Normani and my "boyfriend" cuddling. I couldn't do anything but cry.
"Dinah it's not what it looks like" I hear Normani say. But I ignore her and looked at Eric. He was biting his lip while touching Normani. I didn't know if they were both in on it but. I didn't know what to do. So I just ran. And at the back of my mind I hear Normani calling my name.
Normani's POV
I tried and tried to tell Dinah what was really going on but she didn't listen to me. She just ran out the movie theater.
"GET OFF OF ME" I yell at Eric, finally breaking free.
"Dinah please! " I say trying to catch up to her.
"Baby come back" I hear Eric say. Not knowing if he was talking to me or Dinah.
I finally caught up to Dinah as she was running to he car.
"Dinah, let me explain please". I say grabbing her arm. She yanked her arm from my grip and told me to leave her alone.
"But Dinah-"
"Normani! Ju-just go I don't wanna talk to anyone right now"
"But I-I can't go"
"And why is that? " Dinah's says irritated
"Because your my ride" I say trying to make her laugh
"Go ask Eric to take you home" Dinah said getting into the car and locking the door.
"Dinah if you'll just let me explain"
"Fine. Talk" Dinah said while rolling down the window, finally letting me explain.
I explain to her what happened (if you don't know what happened read chapter 2. I don't feel like typing it 😂. Okay back to the story).
I watched Dinah cry as I told her the story.
"So can I get in"? I asked her thinking she forgave me.
She finally unlocked the car door.
The car ride was silent. Until I finally spoke.
"Uhm I had fun today" I say trying to start a conversation. But Dinah stayed quiet so I didn't say another word. I started to tear up.
Dinah's POV
After I heard Normani's explanation, I decided to later her in. She spoke, but I didn't say anything. I was still upset.
After a few minutes I finally spoke
"I'm sorry for overreacting"
"What?"
"I mean I'm sorry for acting the way I did" I apologized.
"I'm sorry too". Normani started. "I should of did something. He was strong and he wouldn't let me g-"
"Normani please. I don't wanna here the story again. I already forgave you"
"S-sorry" she said.
"Stop apologizing" I told her while smiling.
"Sor- I-I mean."
I finally laughed at her cuteness.
"How about we hang out tomorrow and pretend this never happened". I tell Normani while driving up to an ice cream store.
"Sure" Normani said. "But what about Eric?"
"Oh him? Eric can kiss my a-
"Welcome to Charlie's ice cream parlor what can I get for you today" the worker said cutting off my words.
