"I want the Tonight Dough with rainbow sprinkles." Alexa says looking at the chart above us. She smiles widely and licks her lips. I can tell she couldn't wait any longer for her ice cream to come.

Right at this moment, we are at Ben&Jerrys getting some ice creams. I decided to take Alexa and Cassidy out because it's a Friday and I love them very much. Also my mother told me to do something with the kids so why not.

"Anything else with that?" The old lady at the front desk asked. She wrote down a few more and looked up at my sister.

"Oh yes! A cherry on top will do. I love cherries!! Thank youuu!" Alexa clapps her hands and gets really excited. She's in like in what grade now? 6th? But I can't judge because I'm actually the same way.

The front desk lady scribbled down the last topping and hollers to her assistants about the last order.

I lick my chocolate fudge brownie ice cream off my waffle cone. The brownies stuffed inside are soft enough to melt in my mouth. The warm waffle cone tastes really sweet as a take a bite.

"Can I have an ice cream?" Cassidy pleads, tugging at my shirt. I pay the lady and say thanks.

Oh yeah, forgot about one more detail. Cassidy is allergic to dairy. Our family didn't even realize she was allergic until we found out at a restaurant.

So it was probably a Sunday afternoon and we always went to the Olive Garden. We still do but our parents are really busy nowadays with work and their schedules get all jumbled up so we can't go now.

Anyways, we order flatbread with extra butter and Cassidy so happens to try out the bread and ends up in the ambulance with a swelling tongue, hives, and a massive stomach ache. We couldn't believe it until we saw it happen. This never happened before and she drank milk and eats so many foods with ingredients that contain dairy products. We didn't understand at all until we got to an allergen.

The doctor told them to use an epipen which contains several needles and basically insert them into her thigh and wait ten seconds. The needles with their medicine soon cures the hives or swelling or anything bad that's going on in her body. Just incase, the nurse told us we had to wait for a few more hours for her to be situated and comfortable again.

She visits the allergist every August just to check on her. They usually place a needle through her arm and we wait a five days until we know for sure she's allergic to dairy still. Okay back to reality, Cassidy pleading for ice cream.

"No sweetheart you can't. You have a dairy allergy remember?" I tell her and rub her shoulder. She pouts and looks up at me. "I miss having ice cream. It's my favorite thing in the world."

Tears develop in her eyes as the light reflects onto them. I took her to one of the mini tables they have and Alexa follows taking a bite out of the bottom of her ice cream cone. She always does that first but I don't know why. The ice cream would come oozing out from the bottom but I didn't want to argue with her right now.

I sit in a chair and wipe my fingers under Cassidy's her eyelids and she looks at me with a sad expression. I would hate to have this allergy, a lot of kids her age of must suffer a lot from it. Only in her lifetime they will find a cure.

"Don't worry Cassidy, we will get you something from a toy store." I hug her to make her feel better and she nods and wipes her eyes.

"Cmon guys lets go to ToysRus." I grab Alexa's hand and Cassidy's and we walk to the store.  The place is actually right across the street so we look both ways and soon enter the shop.
