Elise's pov:

I walk into the room to find Harry on the floor staring at the picture of me laying on my pink blanket.  My grandmother gave it to me before she passed away at that time.  I loved that blanket so much and it meant that I was safe from all the monsters underneath my bed. Hahah I remember those days. I still have that soft cover and sometimes I sleep with it when I have nightmares. My eyes start to water as I walk over to him.  I bend over to see more clearly but I end up touching harrys shoulder, which caused him to jump slightly.

He looks behind himself and looks at me widening his eyes.

"Hey...sorry I startled you"  I say quietly, my voice cracking.

"Hey why are you crying?" He ask me. We both stand up together. He cups my face with his hands and wipes away one of my tears that was falling down my cheek. His fingertips touching my skin gave me goosebumps. I shiver from his touch.

"Are you cold? Here." He gives me his jacket he brought with him. He grips both sides of the material, and wraps it around my shoulders.  He asks again. "Do you want to talk about it?"

I shake my head and we sit down on my bed.  He hugs me, his warm body radiating onto mine. His arms rap around my shoulders and it's very comforting, besides his soft coat he gave me seconds ago.  We separate and I look into his sparkling green eyes for a good few minutes.  Wow I need to stop staring.

"We should probably start working on the project.." Harry interrupts.

"Yeah..we should" I laugh, embarressed that we've been just looking at each other not doing anything. It wasn't really an awkward silence.  It was an okay silence.
--------------------------------

We sit in chairs at a small desk in my room. My folder and his are laying in front of us and we both open the flaps. We take out the paper Mrs. Brooks handed out. I take my finger and point at the bold words, I read out loud;

"All students must create a project involving electricity. This will bring up your starting grade for this year so don't fail! (Use batteries, light bulbs, wires,..etc)

'Due September 10th' "

"We have only 9 days?! Wow Mrs Brooks IS some teacher." Harry complains to me and laughs. His laugh is really cute.

"I know right, but we better get started."

"I think I have an idea.."  Harry smiles, tapping his chin lightly with his fingers while looking at the ceiling.  I look at him curiously, wondering what's going on in that mind of his.

*Few hours later*

"Let's have it a try." I say. I go to turn off the light in my room.  I turn on my dim lamp so we'll be able to see what we're doing.

I first put both my hands on each of the two wires. I put them both together and I saw sparks but it died out. Oh Nuggets!

"Here let me help." Harry suggested smiling at me with that huge grin of his.  I could stare at that smile all day.

"Sure" I let Harry help me.  Harry and I both plug in both wires to see if we get a shock, our hands touching one another. Not just my veins sending electricity from the touch of his hands through my body, but our project itself was incredible.  The wire sparks a little and the lightbulb we placed started to flicker.  In a matter of seconds the light was shown and my smile brightened.

"We did it!!" I cheered and Harry looks at me with his cheesy grin.  Not thinking, I open my arms out and hug his torso, smiling into his chest. He notices my reaction and his arms wrap around my body too. I feel his heart beat steady, as it catches on with mine.  We both stand there just hugging each other.  I could tell none of us wanted to let go.  There was no place I'd rather be then right now.
