Emily p.o.v

I wake up to the warmth of the sun radiating through my windows.
There is nothing better then a lazy Sunday morning.
I pull the covers over my head to sheild the sun.

"Good morning Gorgeous."
Luke says through a yawn.

I pull the covers off my head momentarily to look up at him.
"How long have you been up for?"

"A couple minutes."
He answers, scrolling through his phone.
"How did you sleep?"

"Good." I say, yawning. "How about you?"

"Good, actually. I got a descent amount of sleep for once."

"Thats good. Now I'm going back to sleep." I declare, pulling the sheets back over my head.

" Me too." I feel Luke wrapping his arms around me as we both drift asleep.

I quietly slip out of bed so as not to wake Luke.
I tiptoe around the bed and reach towards my wardrobe to grab a pair of jeans and a simple grey t-shirt.

I then walk into the bathroom to shower and get changed. I top everything off with a gold watch and some purfume.
Exiting out of the bathroom I throw my hair into a ponytail and peek inside of my room to see Luke sound asleep.
I walk into the library to scribble down a note for Luke.

Left for the market, I'll be back in 30 minutes.
Try not to miss me too much.
Love,  Em

I set the note on his phone and leave the room, shutting the door behind me.

As I head down the stairs I notice a silver necklace on the kitchen counter.

I walk towards the island looking around.
Nothing.
Nothing is put out of place, nothing seems peculiar.
Nothing.

That's strange.
I reach towards the necklace, wrapping my fingers around the cold metal.
It's a simple necklace, there's not much to it. Except for a large M ingraved in it and a single stone incrusted in it, a ruby.

How did this get here? It's not mine.
I'm most likely overthinking this, it's probably Luke's.
Without thinking I slip in in my leather jacket's pocket before slipping it on and heading out the door.

I stroll through the market street looking at all of the fresh produce.
Smelling their beautiful aromas wafting through the air as I walk to the donut stand.

I thought if I was at the market I might as well get donuts for breakfast.
I walk up to the cash and ask for a cookies and cream donut, a honey cruler and two boston creams.

The man hands me the brown bag with the donuts and I place it inside my bag after paying.

I walk away from the donut stand heading towards my car in the parking lot.
I shift through my bag to look for my car keys.

When I look up I notice a little girl at the booth across from me.
She is about seven and she's standing on her tippy toes trying to peer over the tall counter.
Standing next to her are two boys, her brothers I assume. The taller boy is around fifteen and has dark curly hair. The shorter boy, who I assume is younger has dark blonde hair.

The little girl reminds me of when I was younger and I can't help but notice the resemblance of our appearances. She has light blonde curly hair and wears a big wide smile on her face that streaches from ear to ear.
All three of the children have matching blue-green eyes.
