"Okay I'll be there, give me 2 days to figure things out" said Nicole, not sure if she was really going to show up or not. "Okay Nicole, take care, and see you then." Said the doctor satisfied with himself for convincing her. Nicole hung up, and told Jay and his mother that it was her mother and she had to go home.
The next day Jay ran up to Nicole right when he saw her and started yelling and talking really fast. "Slow down, I can't understand a word you saying." Said Nicole with a chuckle. "Oh, sorry" said Jay, also with a chuckle. "I just got off the phone with my producer and he wants me to go on a 3 month tour!!" "Oh, wow Jay that's huge." Nicole replied, slightly afraid of what his decision would be on if he was going to go or not. "I think I'm going to go" said Jay with excitement. At that moment it didn't matter how Nicole or Jay felt but he couldn't keep it inside anymore. "Unless you want me to stay, Nicole I was going to tell you earlier but I was afraid you wouldn't feel the same way, I really like you Nicole, and I hope you like me too. Do you want me to stay?" "Awe... Jay, I like you too" Nicole was used to hiding, and lying about her feelings, she'd been doing it since she was 9. "Don't get me wrong, You're an amazing guy, and I do like you a lot, but Jay... You're an amazing singer, go on the tour, you may never get this chance again."
Nicole knew she should've told him then and there, but she knew he had more important things in life to worry about then a girl with a disease.
