I was theory thrashing with my bread friends and came up with this.
So the miraculous are gender specific (like a hunnit percent sure) so that means whoever Hawkmoth is, he can't wear them. (Unless he is actually a girl, which I highly doubt.) I was thinking he wanted to become a dynamic duo with someone.
Who that someone might be?
Mama Agreste of course!
Since I have a firm belief Gabriel is not Hawkman why else would he have her picture in a locket?
He would get Chat Noirs ring and Mama Agreste would get the earrings.
Why couldn't mama Agreste become Hawkmoth and get them? Well that goes back to the: the kwami and miraculous are genre specific.
But it's just a really crazy theory.
