    "Oh god..."

"Hold still, Lana. You don't want any bald spots."

I opened my eyes and caught a glimpse at strands of my dark brown locks, falling to the floor. I quickly shut my eyes again and mentally groaned.

I hated this but I had to.

I can't live this Hollywood World anymore. I just want to be an average girl just for once.

"I still can't believe you want to be an 'average girl'. What's wrong with the Hollywood life?" asks my best friend for five years, Gabby.

"What's wrong with the Hollywood life?" I repeated, "I could list a ton but I'll only say the top 3. Number 3 is the papparazzi, number 2 are the rumours and finally number 1, the drama. Especially the drama that involves other celebs."

"I would do anything to take your place though." she said.

"Alright, it's done. Wanna open your eyes, Lana?" said my hair stylist, Shelly.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at my hair in the mirror.

It was much shorter than before. Instead of my hair that reached the middle of my back, it was now shoulder lengthed. I had side bangs which covered my right eye when I slightly turned my head.

"Wow, I look great." I said.

"I did my best." Shelly said, smiling.

"You know, you could've worn a wig instead of cutting your beautiful hair." Gabby said.

"I know but I'm not a big fan of wigs. And besides, I don't want to wear a wig 24/7." I replied.

"Do you want any highlights, Lana?" Shelly asks me.

    "Neon green highlights?" I pleaded.

"I'm on it." she says and takes out a bottle of neon green hair dye.

"Are you going to wear any color contacts? You know, for disguising your eye color?" Gabby asks.

"I was thinking of green contacts. Or maybe blue." I said.

"Contact lenses, Lana?" I heard my publicist, Kimberly say as she walked into the room.

"Yeah. Do you have them?" I asked her.

She pulls out a box of contacts and hands me green lens. I never wear contact lenses (unless it's for movies) so it took me a few minutes to get one in. When I finally got it in, I looked into the mirror.

One grey and one green eye stared back at me. I got the other green lens in and looked back the mirror.

"I like the green." Gabby says.

"Try the blue now." Kim says, handing me blue lens.

I took the two green contacts out and put the blue ones on.

"The blue looks so pretty on you!" Gabby chirps.

    "So, blue?" I asked her.

    She nodds, "Definately."

"So, do I look less 'Lana Moore' now?" I asked.

"You could use some glasses. Something is still standing out the 'Lana Moore'." Kim says.

She puts a pair of light green glasses on my face.

I stared at a complete stranger in front of me.

"Oh wow, now I look different." I said.

    "And adorable." Gabby adds.

    "Adorable?" I repeated.

"Yeah. I never seen you with glasses before. You look cute and nerdy at the same time." she says.

"Is that a good thing?" I asked.

"Well, to disguise your looks. Then, yes." Kim replies.

"Wait, what about my voice? Won't people recognize it?" I said, worriedly.

"People won't recognize it, Lana. No worries." Shelly says.

"What about a name? Did you think of one?" Gabby asks.

"How about Alana Morrison?" Shelly suggests.

"I like it. It's a different name but you could tell there's still the name, 'Lana Moore' in it." Gabby says.

I grinned, "I love it. I'll use it."

"Now that you're completely disguised, I'll come up with where you lived, went to school, all those stuff. I'll right it down and you could memorize it tonight and tomorrow before school." Kim says.

"This is so exciting." I said, cheerfully, "I can't wait to go to Douglas Academy tomorrow!"

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Call me when you get there, okay, Alana?" Kim says.

    "Don't worry, I will." I said.

    "And me too." Gabby adds.

    "Of course, Gabby." I said.

    "You got everything?" Kim asks.

"Yup, everything I need for my new life in Douglas Academy." I replied.

"Alright, I'm gonna miss you, Lana." she says, quietly.

"Me too. Don't forget to call me about the deets of Douglas Academy. You know, boys, mean girls, school work, anything." Gabby says.

"You got it, Gabby." I said with a smile and turned back to Kim, "Are my parents gonna make it?"

"Hate to say it but your parents can't make it. But they told me to tell you to have fun and be safe. And they said they'll be sending you video message later." Kim replied.

"Oh, okay." I said, a little down.

Flight 284 is about to board...

"I have to go. I'll miss you guys." I said, embracing both of them into a hug.

    "Good luck, Lana." Gabby whispers.

We let go and I headed to the terminal.

I turned my head around and saw them smile and wave at me.

I sighed and boarded the plane.
