Juliet woke up in her bed, feeling a slight soreness in her neck. She placed a hand to her neck, feeling the presence of the puncture wounds from Vladimir's bite that had been left there as a reminder of their previous night together. She blushed at the thought of their night. They had finally confessed their love for one another, and sealed it with an act of given blood on Juliet's part. Vladimir must've tucked her into bed after what had transpired. Juliet got up, rising from her bed to go and find Vladimir. Throwing on a robe, she exited her room. As she walked towards the staircase, she felt as if something was watching her. She shook off the feeling as she reached the stairs. Upon reaching the bottom of the staircase, she looked around. Out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw a figure. She turned around no one was there, when she turned back she nearly jumped and opened her mouth to scream. A hand covered her mouth, while another hand reached around to pull her close.
"I'm sorry if I started you my dear," Vladimir spoke. Juliet calmed herself upon realizing it was him. He lifted his hand from her mouth and caressed her cheek. "How do you feel?"
"Much better, although my neck is a little sore," Juliet revealed, pulling her robe down to show him the bite mark. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her.
"The pain in your neck from my doing is only temporary, you will feel better later this evening, I promise." He pulled her close against him and lifted up her chin to kiss her. Juliet felt elated as they joined together for a soothing kiss. "Unfortunately I must go, the day time is the only time when I can be permitted to sleep. But please rest assured that you will see me as the night draws near. I have special plans arranged for us tonight." Juliet smiled and kissed him once more.
"I can't wait for tonight then," she smiled. Vladimir smiled down at her, holding her within his arms, feeling completely content.
"And neither can I, my sweet." He pulled away, taking her hand in his to kiss the top of it lightly. He then began to walk away but stopped in his tracks and looked back at her. "One more thing, before I depart. I believe you are only wearing a robe at the moment, my dear." He smiled, his gaze taking in her lovely appearance. Juliet blushed and pulled her robe up a bit to cover herself. Vladimir then walked away, and Juliet returned to her room to work on her writing.
