Arthur:

Arthur was slightly surprised at Amelia's sudden change in tone. Her bright blue eyes momentarily lost their spark and dulled slightly. It became completely silent in the vehicle. The tension was enough to snap a rope. But as quickly as Amelia slipped into a serious mood, she slipped out of it.

Oh, look we're here!" she smiled. Arthur's eyes widened a little at her bipolar-like behaviour.

She asked Gilbert to stop the car, hopped out and opened the door for Arthur. It was dark outside as the ride had taken a long time. There were tall buildings all around, illuminated by the lights inside them. Amelia proceeded lead Arthur to a massive grey skyscraper after Gilbert drove away to God-knows-where. There was a revolving glass door that lead into a beautifully decorated lobby. Arthur looked around, taking in everything he saw. He noticed that there was a man behind a desk staring suspiciously at him. Amelia flashed her badge and Arthur did the same. The man at the desk studied their I.D.s carefully before showing them to a passworded door. He typed in the code and sent them through the door that lead into another room, although it was smaller.

Arthur felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he checked his notifications. It was Allistor, his eldest sibling. He was asking if he had gotten to the States safe. This made Arthur's mood lift a bit and a small grin came onto his face. His family members that were still alive (his siblings) very rarely showed compassion towards him (especially Allistor and his only sister), and he returned the favour by acting the exact same. In fact, the only time he could think of that they were supportive fairly recently was when he came out as homosexual.

Amelia snapped him out of his train of thought,"What's got you smiling so much?"

"Just a rare case of my oldest brother being remotely decent to me."

"Aw, that's sweet..."

They got into a lift and went up to the top floor. There was a long foyer with numerous doors on each side. Amelia showed him to a door and told him to go in. After she opened the door for him, she walked away.

Arthur tentatively entered through the large silver doors and looked around the dimly-lit area. He couldn't see anything, but then he stiffened as he heard a familiar voice.

"You're late."

"You're early," Arthur retorted,"How did you even get here before me? You were in the airport while I got on the plane. You even said you wouldn't take a private jet because I threw a tantrum about having to take a commercial aeroplane."

"Unimportant," the voice replied, "But you'll obviously need a mission now that you're here."

A smirk came onto Arthur's face, "Oh, hell yes."
