A Little Gift

After meeting Asgore, me and Asriel headed off to meet other monsters. We walked to a place Asriel said was called 'The Ruins.' "Asriel..." All Asriel did was hum in reply. Taking that he was listening to me I said "Did anyone tell you how cute you are?" After two seconds, Asriel's face lit up like the fourth of July, and blushed. Then something unexpected happened, he hugged my waist, for he can only reach my waist. Asriel looked up at me with large eyes, and a little blush. "Hey (Y/N)? Can we go back inside? I wanna show you to your room! And mine! Oh! And then we can play with my action figures!" Asriel beamed with happiness. He must of been a lonely and only child, since showing me a room or two gets him excited. My thoughts were stopped when I heard a giggle and felt tugging. "Come on (Y/N)! Stop standing around!" Asriel giggled again and I looked at him. Tugging my shirt, not able to pull me, Asriel 'baa'd' out of frustration. Asriel's eyes widened and he covered his mouth, like he cursed in front of his parents. Me on the other hand, is laughing and clutching my sides. "Oh that's so cute!" I exclaimed, and my laughing ceased. I grabbed Asriel's hand, and started walking 'home.' I cringed slightly at the word as we walked. After meeting a frog named Froggit and a moth... Butterfly thing? Named Whimsun on the way, we finally made it home. Asriel grabbed my hand back, and ran to the house. Filled with DETERMINATION, Asriel was able to pull me this time. "Mom! Mom! Can I show (Y/N) her room?" Asriel was already dragging me to a hallway before Toriel could answer him. Inside the hallway, I saw that the first door was on the left, and at the end of the hallway were two doors. Asriel ran up to the first door and opened it, letting go of my hand when he did. He moved his hand from mine to my backpack. He bolted inside the room, threw the backpack to the side, and plopped down on the bed. I walked in and took a look at the room. (F/C) painted walls with (S/F/C) designs on it, (F/C) carpet. I turned to the door, and noticed it had the same symbol as Toriel and Asgore has on their clothes. "Do you like your room?" Asriel asked me, hands behind his back. "Yes I do, better than the one I have back at home." I replied while shuffling. "Oh, well after we go into my room, I will give you something! I think you will like it! Then we can play!" Asriel gave a little victory yell as he jumped off my bed. Asriel got a camera that was on the bed and walked over to me. "Here, let's take a picture!" Asriel snapped the picture and grabbed the photo. Asriel walked out of my room and ran to the second to last door, and went inside. I followed him inside, after about two minutes of thinking. "This..." Asriel motioned to the whole room. "Is my room!" I looked around and there was a dresser with a few drawings on it, a green wallpaper with yellow stripes, and a bed. Asriel walked to his dresser and opened it. "Mom said I should have a sock drawer, but I don't think they're cool. But I do know what is cool!" Asriel turned to me with a blush, his hands behind his back and walking towards me. I raised an eyebrow as he stuck out his hands and in it was a white box with a red bow. "You, and this present I got you!" Asriel's blush darkened and I picked up the box and opened it. I gasped and covered my mouth with my hand. It was a golden heart shaped locket with the words 'Best Friends' on it. Tears formed at my eyes as I opened it and saw a mini music box on the left, while on the right was a picture of me and Asriel we two took earlier in my room. "I love it!" I said, some tears sliding down my cheek. The tears continued and increased. I ran over to Asriel and pulled him in a tight hug. "u-uh.... c-c-cant breathe!" Asriel struggled to speak and I let go of him. "Sorry, but I- You- Thank you!" I quickly said. Asriel then held up one that looked like mine. "I have one!" Asriel said. I hugged him thanking him a million times.
