Running Away

There was only one thing one your mind while fake sleeping when your abusive dad came by and checked up on you. 'I've got to get out of here!' After your dad left, and went downstairs to get drunk, you flew out of bed and grabbed a backpack with (F/S) on it. You quietly grabbed clothes, a water bottle, some snacks, your phone, your charger, and your knife in it along with a flashlight. You slipped on a (F/C) sweater to hide the bruises and cuts, not made by you, but your dad and brother. Your mom died just recently from a drunk driver. Ever since, your family has been treating you like dirt. You put on some (S/F/C) jeans and put on the backpack. You open the window slightly and it makes the loudest sound you heard a window make. 'Great' You mentally groan when your father yelled. "WHAT THE *hiccup!* F*CK WAS THAT?!" Next thing you know, the two boys are in your room. "Don't think you can get away from us! You'll get a good beating for this!" Your brother threatened. You jumped out the window and onto the cool grass. The moon showering you in its pale light. You look up and see your brother and dad climbing out the window. You start running as fast as your legs could carry you up to Mt. Ebott despite the warnings and legend. "Those who climb the mountain never come back" That sounded nice to you so you continued up, for you stopped to think about the legend. Once you reach the top, you look around. It's so beautiful! You can see everything. Town lights shimmering, stars twinkling, it's breathtaking! You start to head back down the other side when you suddenly trip and fall. Thinking it's ok, you got up and the ground beneath you broke. "Oof!" The air was knocked out of you. You scrambled to your feet and looked around,you were in a cave and there was a hole-The hole that lead underground! You quickly ran over to it, not being able to stop yourself in time, you tripped over a root and fell. Screaming and darkness. That's all there was.
