LUCCA
Standing on this bright and elegant place is not my ideal evening place. Then again, following a woman for a week is not normal either. Also, finding out that a Rostrovick adopted her was beyond weird. My life always invited death, I couldn't complain.
People mingled around me about anything. They looked so happy and cheerful.
I found out that these balls happen for a new hotel and they are decorated almost the same way. Rostrovick family are not original, unless they intend on this way.
I narrowed my eyes. In front of me, I looked at the most wanted men.
Russian men.
One of them looked short and the other looked tall, both aged. They looked happy and carefree. I moved swiftly, hiding in the shadows. I listened to their conversation.
"Yes. Yes. I totally agree." the short one said.
"Have you heard about the new transports?" the tall one said.
The short individual nodded and continued "Oh yes. Juan knows what he is doing. Soon enough his son will take over. I heard that he is been learning the business too well."
They were interrupted by two ladies gluing to their bodies. They laughed all together.
Who is Juan Rostrovick's son?
I followed her gaze and saw the most astonishing woman alive.
The top of the ancient gown was glittery black with a sweetheart neckline and strapless. Below her waist was chocolate brown. The fabric was layered with so multiple glitters. It shined in every angle possible. It was a full-length dress, looking like a dark angel just fallen out of the sky. On her hands were black silky gloves, hiding her delicate fingers. Her hair was sided only in one way and the bottom of the hair had curly waves.
I was a beast and I wanted to make her my beauty.
She looked around to see a woman there and she whispered something. A second later, she took Anna's dark brown shawl. She was hesitant but she complied. She fixed and smoothen her gloves. Behind her, two men came and stood on each side. One of them I recognised, Juan Rostrovick. Then who was the other man? His son? The unknown man wrapped his arm around her back and pushed her forwards.

ANNA
I entered through the golden doors and a lady greeted me and took my shawl. I looked up to see one large glass chandelier with several globes welcoming me. They shinned in every corner, not leaving any untended area. Followed by cream ceiling, along with flowery borders on each corners. It looked beautiful.
Victorian.
Medieval and old-fashioned.
Like I was transported to another era.
I felt a hand on my small back and turned to my left to find a smiling Caleb and on my right Juan. Side by side. Juan told us that he had to take care of business and left, while Caleb pushed me forwards to the nearest high table. Instantly, Caleb handed me champagne glass. I took it. My gaze started to wonder in every curve, finding strangers giggling and mingling.
I felt warm breath near to my ear and I turned slightest to see Caleb near to me. He whispered, "This is going to be boring." I said nothing, just letting my smiling expression be my answer.
He pulled back. I looked at Caleb. He was talking to someone that I didn't recognise. This man had a dark grey three-piece suit with black shinny shoes. On the right wrist, he wore a golden Rolex. He had dirty blonde hair, mixed with brown. His eyes reflected the silky waves of Caribbean, giving a hint of pure aqua marine colour. He fixated his blue eyes on me.
