That was what I felt when I woke up, my eyes were swollen due to the tears from yesterday.
I went to the mirror and I looked like shit, I had eye bags cos I couldn't sleep well last night.
I can't go to school today, how was I going to face Zayn? I pretended I was still asleep cos I knew mom was entering any moment from now.
''Princess, aren't you going to school today?'' She asked coming to sit on my bed.
I slept on the bed and pretended to cough , she saw me and touched my head.
''But you have no fever and what happened to your face, did you get any sleep at all?''
I faked another cough to convince her again.
''Mom I told you I'm not well, so can I stay?''
''Oh no young lady you missed it last Friday, I'll apply some make up on your face to clear thattt''.
I signed in defeat cos she had a point, I took my bath and brushed my teeth.
I wore all black and a cap to prevent Zayn from noticing me and mom did my make up and curled my hair.
When she was satisfied with her work she gave me a mirror to see my self.when I saw the girl in front of me,her eye bags were gone and she looked extremely beautiful.
Make up is really the devil ,I went to my car and headed to pick Katie.
She entered and studied what I was wearing.
''Are you mourning anyone," she said opening the door.
'Are you entering or not," I said gesturing her to enter.
''And as for your question," I continued. ''I just wore so that 'you know who' would not notice me," I knew I was being dramatic.
She nodded her head and started to talk about yesterday, I didn't like to talk about it cos I still feel the pain of being rejected
She saw I didn't like the topic, she kept her mouth shut when she got the message. The car became silent and she brought up another topic feeling really excited.
What's making her happy in that dirty mind of hers , maybe her boyfriend is making her happy unlike me, I've been sulking all day.
She's just so lucky, I sounded like I was envying her.
But seriously do you know how it feels for a boy you've been crushing on for a long time to reject you, it's just really painful, Katie interrupted my thoughts before I could shed some tears
''Have you heard about the beach we're going to next Monday," she gushed out.
I was quiet for sometime but I knew I was being selfish, Katie doesn't deserve this.
''No," I finally answered.
''Chloe convinced Mr Bush(aka our principal) to let us have some break from school since we have been working hard, you know how rich Chloe's dad is and he donates lots of things so the Principal gave in," Katie said explaining.
How does she even know everything it's like she's knows everything going on in the school.
''Oh," I said.
''I don't think I can go," I continued concentrating on the road.
I can't possibly wear a bikini in front of the whole twelfth grade and how will I cope when Jake and z...'' I stopped before I could complete my statement, his name only brings me pain.
''Please, I don''t want to go alone.I promise I won't leave your side,0 she said doing her cute puppy face.
''That's not gonna work on me," I said facing forward.
''Oh Soph, don't be such a loner, you're coming and that's final," Katie said.

I knew I would give in, my advice never, have a demanding friend you can't refuse but Katie is still the best.
We arrived at school and got down from the car,I quickly adjusted my cap and headed to class. Holy cow, I totally forgot today was Monday which means, Zayn is in history with me.
I reluctantly went to the class because there's no way I could ditch the class, as I was going I saw Jake coming towards me, I bit my lips when I saw him. I thought this disguise worked.

He came closer to me and I ran just to avoid him.
''Raven! Please wait," he said shouting to meet me, I decided to stop and listened to him.
''Heyy...'' I said not knowing how to respond.
''Are you mourning someone?" he chortled.
''No," I replied.
''Raven, I just realized I still love even after our break up, I realized how much I miss you so please let's get back together," he said .
I didn't know what to say, I've hurt Jake before and I don't want to hurt him again.
''Jake I'm sorry, I don't want to hurt you again,we can only be friends," I said touching his hand.
''No Raven I want to be more than a friend,I love you," he said and after a short pause he continued.
''I know it's because of Zayn but just so you know, he spent the night at Chloe's, he doesn't feel the same way as you do," Jake said removing his hand from me and he walked away.
That's right he doesn't feel the same way,I've heard that enough already, I went to the class and cleaned my tears.
I noticed Zayn was not in the class,he might still be with that Chloe,great now I'm jealous.
The lesson started and I wasn't concentrating on what he was teaching, someone entered and got everyone's attention including mine. It was no one other than Zayn Anderson.
He looked terrible, he had a bruise on his face like he was in a fight .
