CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Here is the chapter you've all been waiting for!!

I couldn't believe Zayn Anderson was standing right in front of me,why was he here? Obviously to see me but I couldn't believe he cared. I was very shocked and Katie broke the silence in the room.

''Yeah, Zayn saw the way you reacted in the Cafeteria yesterday so he asked me what was going on then I told him what happened to your mom and he brought me over when I told him I was coming to see her today," Katie explained.

Of course he came to see my mom not me, what was I even thinking.

'''Oh, thank you," I felt a little shy .

''Yeah, no problem,I got quite fond of your mom when I came over to your house," he said scratching the back of his head.

Katie gave me a look which means we should talk in private, I excused myself from Zayn and went ahead to meet her.

''This is your chance Raven," Katie held my hand tightly.

''To do what," I said and I later realized what she meant, ''No! I can't confess to him ,what if he doesn't like me back," I continued.

''I know he does Raven, trust me, it's now or never," Katie insisted.

''Okay but how will I tell him," I said getting nervous.

''Just trust yourself," Katie said assuring me.

After ten minute of Katie assuring me,we went back to the room and I saw Zayn sitting down already and talking to mom. I smiled when I saw him.I was about to talk to him when Katie quickly cut into my words.

''Zayn could you follow Raven to get a drink for Mrs Williams'', she said hurriedly.

''But you just went out," he said smirking.

''Raven just helped me to fix my makeup," Katie said, touching her face.

''Okay, let's go," Zayn said opening the door for me .

Ás I went out Chloe winked her eyes and wished me good luck in a low tone.

As we were walking together,it became so silent between us and I managed to bring out some words.btw I practiced it in my heart.

''Zayn, could I talk to you for a moment?"

''Sure,"  he replied.

We both went out of of the hospital and went to the garden cos it was private. The air was fresh and it was cold outside. Zayn sat down on a chair but I insisted to stand.

''So what do you want to say?" He asked staring at me.

I became so scared but something pulled me to talk.

''Zayn," I said his name feeling very nervous.

''Yes," he replied.

''I have been keeping this in me for so long but I've managed to gather up the confidence," I said as he and I stopped and we faced each other.

''I like you very much, I've been in love with you for three years, I changed my appearance because of you,since the day I bumped into you in ninth grade, it's more like love at first bump. I could not stop thinking of you and the thing I should have done the most and a long time ago is telling you straightly about that I love you''. I said cleaning the tears dropping from my eyes

Everywhere became silent,I was waiting for him to talk and when he finally spoke my heart could not stop beating fast.

''I'm sorry Raven, but Chloe and I are back together, I don't feel the same way as you do, I just care about you as a friend''.
