Calum groans while turning off his alarm clock, he scratches his ear before heading to the bathroom to get a shower before school.

"CALUM!" His mother yells while he is cleaning his hair.

"Yes mum?"

"I am off to work and will be home late"

"Okay love you mum"

The curtain and door to the shower upon, Calum squeals and his tail covers up his parts, his mother laughs. 

"I gave to birth to that" she says proudly then adds "I think you are bigger than you father"

Calum's face gets redder then it already was, she laughs and he comes over to her and kisses her cheek "Now go mother"

"Okay see you later honey" she say and closes the door along with the curtain. Calum sighs and his tail goes back gown and begins to way while he rinses his hair and ears, once finished he dried off and walks around his room, his mother had made boxers that have holes in the back also so so his tail is a bit more free. He slips on some black skinnies and a sweatshirt it was raining outside.

"Hey Cal" His father pops his head in "Do you need a ride to school since it is raining?"

"Sure just let me get shoes and a hat on"

"I'll be in the car"

His father walks out of the room and he slides on some vans and a snapback. He grabs his bag and phone and rushes down the stairs to his fathers car. Once they had gotten to the school his father gave him ad pat on the back.

"Bye sport"

"Bye Dad"

Once in the downpour Calum ran inside and once safe fro the downpour he walked to his locker. He put his things into his locker and grabbing his agenda along with a few notebooks. He gets to the lunchroom to see his two friends and they greet him with a smile and a hug. As they were talking Calum watched a familiar boy walked into the room, he had not noticed Calum yet, but he watched as the boy went to get orange juice from the food line, then their eyes met and it was like no one else was in the room with the two of them, the dirty blondes blue eyes never left his as he began to make his way to the boy.

"Who is he?" Ashton asks from beside Calum.

"I am about to find out" Calum whispers his eyes still staying in contact with the boy.

"Hi" the boy says shyly 

"hey" Calum whispers

"I'm Luke"

"I'm C-calum"

"That is an adorable name"

"t-thank you"

'Why am I so nervous talking to him?'

"Can I sit with you guys?"

"Yeah of course" Calum finally says remembering about how he talked about not being accepted "That is Michael and this is Ashton"

"Hello I am Luke"

"Nice to meetcha" Ashton says shaking his hand, Michael looks jealous but the Ashton looks at him sticking his tongue out. The fist bell rings and Luke had no idea where his classes are, Calum asked to see his schedule to see Luke has every class with him.

"We have all of our classes together"

~~End of the Day~~

"Hey Calum?"

"Yes Luke?"

"Do you want to go to the park with me?"

"Uh what would we do there?"

"Well there is this dog and he is adorable"

'Oh crap make something up'

"I actually have to be home after school I have to do a lot of chores"

Luke's face falls a little "It is okay"

'Aw Luke do not frown, I love your smile'

"We can hang out tomorrow at my house if you want?"

A smile comes back on Luke's face "That sounds like a plan"

Calum leaves the school and begins his walk home, when getting home he actually had to do chores so he got those done before doing what he feels with be a routine, he put his collar on, then walked down the stairs to write a note. After that he leaves the house and makes his way to the park. He was panting from the Sydney heat when he finally got up to the hill Luke was already there and when he saw Calum his face light up.

"I got here kinda early"

Calum licks Luke's jeans and he laughs "Yeah my dog Molly does the exact same thing"

'I wish I could tell you' When ever Calum thinks or tries to talk it comes out in garbled barks.

"Sassy"

'I am not sassy'

"Hey no talking back" he says and Calum puts his ears down in a pouting manner "Aw do not pout Calum"

His ears go up at him saying his name and then Luke talks about his day.

"So I met someone that was named Calum and his hair was a raven black, creamy brown eyes kinda like yours" he says and Calum's tongue fell out of the side of his mouth, he began to pant a bit, the heat was getting to him. Luke notices this and grabs a water bottle from his bag that he had, Calum's ear perk up at the sight off it. Luke smiles and pours some water in his hands and Calum gets up and begins to lap the water out of his hands and when he was nearly finished, he would pour more water for Calum. Once Calum was hydrated he sat back down.

'thank you'

"Yeah, Oh man I need to get home"

Calum watches as he quickly packs his things and as they are walking back Luke speaks again "I will not be at the park tomorrow Calum asked me to hang out to his place, I really hope your owner takes you there, or you just go there I do not know but yeah bye Calum"

Calum waits until he gets inside again before getting home only to see that his father is home, he had to sneak up to his room in this form once in his room he shifts out and he hears his father coming up the stairs, he quickly takes of his collar and hides it under his pillow, then throw on some boxers.

"Hey Cal how was the park?"

"It was hot"

"It was what do you want to eat?"

"Don't mind"

"So tacos?"

"Sure why not?"

"Alright not going to promise that that will be as good as yours"

"I'll be down soon" Calum says and his father leaves his roman goes to the kitchen. Calum lets a breath out and whispers "that was close"
