Chapter 11

I move silently through the halls towards the boys room my shoes lightly clicking for every step I take.

I open his door slowly and find him holding his head and crying in pain. I bust the door completely open and run to his side. "What's.... what's wrong" I say with care.

"They.... they turned me into..." he looks deep into my eyes and cries louder "They turned me into their weapon" he drops his head to my shoulder. I look at him confused "what do you mean?" he clears his tears away and looks at me again "I'm sorry Crystal I truly am sorry that they made me this way" I feel a sharp pain in my stomach my body slowly becomes weak and I fall into a pool of my blood. Raven tries to heal me quickly but I know she can't help me, I need blood.

"Laveria can you heal me I can't take this pain" I wait for an answer and I feel a stirring in my body "You called to me so I must help you" I sigh in relief as the pain starts to subside "This won't last long we must drink blood Crystal" I nod in acknowledgment and stand up weakly "Remind me why I put all of my creatures into a deep sleep Raven it was your idea after all" she laughs awkwardly "This is not the time go and find that boy"

I run after the boys scent even though it seems like there is no scent. I don't alert anyone of the danger in the castle.

I chase the scent to a clearing the same one I saw in my dream. In the center I see the man with pale skin and deep blue eyes holding the small fragile boy in his arms. He looks at me blood staining his mouth as he drops the boy.

I stand in shock my body failing to function as the boys lifeless body returns to the earth he came from.

"I...I...I didn't...even get his name" my voice weakens. The man smiles in my direction "His names was Arthur if you want to know so badly" his voice was strong and seductive but at the same time it disgusted me. I grunt as a different pain fills my body the burn in my throat for blood starts to consume my thoughts. A question enters my mind Why do I care if the boy dies?

I begin to laugh hysterically feeling madness and hunger consume me. I run towards the man with no plan in mind to defeat him all I wanted was blood. He pierces my chest with his hand. "What a shame I had higher hopes for you than this"

I growl and pull away from him, falling to the ground becoming weaker every second my blood pours out.

My vision begins to fade a little as I see someone that isn't the pale man. She holds a scythe and guards me from the man. I faintly hear her say something "Leave now Andy she is not something you can have" he hisses and runs off and that's when darkness takes me.

I wake up in my bed with the same girl sitting at my side her long brown hair covering her face. She feels me staring and I move away as she stirs. I suddenly get a pain she looks at me quickly and hands me something it looks like a glass of red wine but I know the smell it's blood.

I drink until I empty the glass and I set it down gently. "Who are you may I ask?" she smiles "My name is Aria I am here to protect you Lady Blood, my brother has sent me the strongest pure blood other than yourself to protect you" she kneels at my feet "So you are Princess Aria I've heard lots about you and your power. What of your husband has he come as well?"

She stands and smiles sadness crossing her face "Lady Blood my husband is worrying about me right at this moment because he is not with me" I frown "I must send you back then all I need is training so please go back to your life Princess Aria" she nods and moves towards the door. "Lady Blood my family of pure bloods have served yours for so long, I will be back when you need me the most". Just as she came, she disappeared from my sight.

I move to stand up and change but when I grab my jacket a letter falls out.

"Lady Blood please forgive me for leaving as I've said before I will come back when you need me the most right now you'll have trouble the pure blood side of you will destroy you until you are perfect for it's standards it'll take you so long for it to obey you but you'll learn in the mean time don't let the madness of its power consume you if it does you will truly be lost to your kingdom"

I sigh and put the letter away I know what she means by the madness. I get out of the room and go to the giant doors of the kingdom. I open them without telling anyone where I'm going, I run off towards the Darket Forest the forbidden place for royalty and I want to find out why.

I feel an arrow speed by my face only grazing my skin. I notice my heart is pounding with fear. "State your business here Lady Blood"

I gasp recognizing that voice "Norton what are you doing in Darket Forest, I thought you died when you ran away all those years ago" he laughs "I found a home here protecting the Holy Lily from outsiders like you I was the apprentice of the once powerful Laura and now I have taken her place"
"Oh I see is that why Royals fear this place? Because people like you kill anyone who enters" he nods.

"I'm surprised you didn't know that this existed here, I thought the Council would have told you of our existence the people the Royals can't control for we are The Lyrians we were born from the stars unlike you royals"

"I see you were born to protect the Lily of Lyra which contains here life force am I correct" he nods solemnly "One day she will return to this earth and grace us with her presence"

"I shall leave you to your business then" I walk away "Wait Lady Blood I must tell you something" I turn around and wait. "Laura said you'd come and that I should give you this" he pulls out a sword from the air.

"This is Sirenia it is a very powerful sword that Laura forged for you not even she could handle its power"

"Thank you Norton I will help you and Darket Forest in its quest to protect the Holy Lily"

I feel him watching me as my figure disappears from his sight. I spread my wings and fly back to my room when I enter I see a white box with a ribbon on it is a small note "I love you Crystal you don't know who I am but I will always love you old friend, I have bought this for you to wear the next time you celebrate something I will be there watching you"

I open the box and what I find is a gorgeous dress that compliments my eyes. I put it down and slide it under my bed. I fall onto the bed and sigh replaying the events of today in my mind.

I updated what a surprise am I right. Never mind that I finally want to write again.
