Roselyn's POV

I feel myself waking up but I'm too tired to open my eyes. I stretch and yawn turning to the side and curling up into a ball trying to get back to sleep. Of course I couldn't.

I have this strange thing, I'm sure others have it too, it's when you wake up and you can't go back to sleep. As my father put it 'once your up, your up'. No matter how tired I am I can not go back to sleep.

I sigh as I open my eyes taking in my surroundings..

I gasp. This isn't my room!

I don't have a fully wooden room with a big, filthy window looking out to nothing but ocean.

I have a white room with golden designs and bed sheets to match.

Unlike this poor excuse of a bed, It looks like bits of wood nailed together with dirty white sheets thrown on top, I have queen sized bed in the middle of my room not thrown in the corner to rot like is single.

No wonder I never had a good sleep lying on this lumpy mattress.

I climb out of bed still wearing my dressing gown from the night before as I think about how I got here. I walk over to the window as I remember last night.

The tall muscle of walk, his strong arms and his husk voice.. then blank.

I look out of the window at nothing but gleaming blue sea.

I've been kidnapped, and no doubt by pirates.

I all of a sudden feel a pang on my heart as I think of the out comes of this.

Never seeing my mother and father again..

My friend Lucas, one of the guards..

My puppy Polo..

Everyone, the friendly faces of the people around me..

Never to be seen again.

A single tear falls from my eye and I let it run down my face till it reaches my jaw then wipe it.

I can't cry I must be strong if I want to get home. I walk over the rotten, old wooden door try to turn the handle. Sadly these pirates are smarter than I though and have locked the door. I knock the door very loudly so someone could hear it and call for help. "Hello?! will someone please let me out?!"

I hear creeks of the floorboards shortly after my cries. I also hear a few things being moved about then the footsteps get closer. I hear a door being opened but not this one. there must be another door so even if I got through this one there would still be another one holding me captive.

The sound of planks of wood being moved fills my ears before keys fitting into the door lock.

I take a few steps back as the door starts to open.

The air leaves my lungs as I lay eyes on this beautiful creature. My mouth hanging open as I take in his broad shoulders, defined jaw and cheek bones. His hair is messed up from sleeping yet it looks so soft, I want to touch it, run my hand through it. Everything about this man is perfect then I met his eyes.

Green eyes stair back at me, their dull, like they have no life in them. I frown.

He looks surprised at me, looking away as his Adam's apple bobs up and down before looking back at me and says. "you called?"

"I-I umm-" suddenly I feel exposed in my dressing gown. I look away blushing.

He lets out a small laugh that has my heart fluttering.

"You must be hungry" he said looking me over shamelessly, lingering at my chest.

I didn't know what to say or do so I just answered his question. "a little" my voice was small like I was scared it might crack under pressure.

He looked away frowning.

Oh my dear god!

Did I not answer correctly?!

Will he kill me now?!

Make me walk the blank?!

I start to panic, stuck to the spot like a statute, afraid to breath.

"I'll go get you breakfast" he said before walking out the door not sparing me a glance.

He locked the door after him but not the second.

How can a guy be so handsome yet so scary?
