“Where the hell is Castiel?” Jeremy Ryan snapped at Dean as he noticed the hunter sitting by himself in the conference room.

“What do you mean? I have no idea where he pops off to.” Dean replied with a hint of sass. Ryan, even though being Dean’s boss, doesn’t punish him for his back-talk, but he honestly should.

“You two need to stay together or the Bureau-Angel Initiative will never succeed! The angels plan to have a strong bond between the humans and angels. If they see that you and Castiel are separated for long periods of time, then they won’t trust us.” He further clarified.

“We’ve only been away from each other for about ten minutes; I don’t understand what the big deal is.”

“’The big deal’ is that you and Castiel need to be civil when in public. If you’re in the Federal Headquarters or anywhere near angels, you two must be cooperative. Alone and in private are the only times you’re allowed to argue, even if over the slightest predicament. So, pull your head out of your ass and summon Castiel to return.” Ryan lectured. With an air of authority, he spun on the heel of his shiny leather shoes and exited the conference room.

“Damn, I hate power people,” Dean murmured.  Afterwards, he began to pray to the trench-coated angel. “Uh, so since I’ve never prayed to an angel, I guess I’m going to keep talking until you show up. If you come quickly, this will be a lot easier to explain in person. The summary is we have to stay together at all times and other crap.” Castiel suddenly appeared in the room in the seat directly next to Dean. “Holy hell!” Gripping his chest like a frightened old woman, Dean jumped in his seat surprised by Castiel’s appearance.

“I’m here, as you prayed. What do you need?” Castiel tried to make his voice less annoyed, but it was definitively strained with frustration.

“Like I said, we have to be together at all times, but technically, we only need to be civil and actually speak when we’re in public. If we’re at my apartment, then there is no need to hide our budding aggravation with one another.” Castiel nodded his head and pursed his lips trying to stop the remark that wanted to slip past his lips.  Standing, Dean left the conference room in search for Travis.

Castiel followed behind like an obedient puppy. Dean groaned at the erect way Castiel stood. He spotted Travis across the office area behind his cluttered desk. Once he entered Travis’ work space, Dean leaned nonchalantly on the dark oak desk. “How’s the reading coming along?” Dean questioned as Travis looked up from John Winchester’s opened journal.

“This is incredibly amazing. I’ve even strayed away from the angels and glanced over his other records; he’s like a freaking God with killing supernatural beings!” Dean smirked and took his chance.

“Duh, we are Winchesters. I didn’t come over here to talk about my blood relatives. I have a favour to ask.” Travis’ eyes were no longer on Dean, they were trained on Castiel intriguingly.

“Uh, who’s he?” He hooked his thumb towards Castiel.

“Travis, meet Castiel, and angel of The Lord.” Those four words Dean lastly spoke definitely received Travis’ attention.

“A real angel?!” Suddenly, Travis had popped out of his chair and stared quizzically towards Castiel.

“Hi, I’m Castiel.” His voice was strained and obviously confused by the load of attention he was receiving.
