Callie arrived at the house and as she was walking up to the house. Annie called out to her

Callie turned around"Oh Hi how is Steven"she asked
"Better ,thank God it wasn't anything serious.How is Brandon"
"Honestly I don't know.He is so depressed and is so mean to me and the kids""He won't leave the house.Like today I asked if he want to come pick up the kids and it was like he didn't care"
"That's normal honey when they come especially like this it takes a lot out of them.They do feel guilty but don't worry your Brandon will come back to you and the kids"
"I hope so the kids think that Daddy love them anymore"Callie started crying
"Come here"Annie hugged her"You call me if you need anything"

As Landon saw Calie he ran up to her"Mommy"he said all excited
"Hey Lan did you have a good time at the party"she asked him

All of a sudden Fiona came running over to Callie"Mommy"she put her arms out for Callie
Callie picked her up and held her tight "Fifi did you have fun today"

"You ready to go home"Callie asked them'
Landon got sad and Callie noticed

"I don't like home anymore"
Callie put Fiona down and knelt down in front of him"Why not"
"Because Daddy isn't Daddy anymore.And I don't think he likes us anymore
"Look at me your Daddy loves you and your sister don't you ever forget that.Your Daddy is just a little hurt right now you know how you get hurt and need to cuddle with Mommy until you feel better"she said
"Yes"
"Its kind of like that sweetie"
He nodded
"Come on lets go home and make biscuits and gravy"she brushed her hand in her hand in his hair
Callie and the kids came home and Fiona ran over to Brandon
"Daddy I missed"she went to hug and accidentally hit his shoulder
"Ouch Damn it Fiona"he yelled at her
Fiona got tears in her eyes "I don't love Daddy anymore Daddy is mean"she said and ran outside
Callie had enough of this"Landon can you go see if your sister is ok"
She watched him walk out and then went off on Brandon"Brandon this has to stop.I don't care if you lash out me , I mean I care but if ever do that again to my kids I swear i'll ask for a divorce"she was getting so angry"
"Shut up Callie you have never been hurt before"
Callie was in shock"I never been hurt before, you are kidding me right. My whole life I have been hurt,until I met you"she was crying
He pulled her close by her belt loop"I'm sorry"he put his forehead on hers
"I'm not the one you need to say that to"she told him
Brandon stood but and kissed Callie's head and went to find the kids.He saw them on the steps and Landon trying to cheer Fiona up
"Um can Daddy join you two"
Landon nodded and scooted over so Brandon could sit next to them"Look Daddy is so sorry for yelling at you Fiona he didn't mean to"
"You made me sad"she told him
"I know"he then looked over at Landon"And I know Daddy hasn't been Daddy lately and I'm sorry Lan"
"You are no fun anymore"he told him
"Daddy is going to try and be that Daddy again"
"Daddy"he said kind of nervous"Can I hug you"
"Come here"he put his arms out for him
Landon wrapped his arms around Brandon"I missed you"he whispered
"I missed you too Buddy"he said He looked over at Fiona come here princess you wont hurt Daddy"
Fiona gently wrapped his arms around Brandon"I still love you Daddy"
"I'll always love you"he kissed her head"Both of you "he kissed Landon's head
Callie watched from the window the sweet moment between her family,she missed moments like that.
Brandon came in leaving the kids playing on the porch.He walked in and watched Callie making dinner.He walked over to her and rubbed his hands down her arms"I'm sorry"he whispered in her ear
"Me too"she said as she lean into him
He turned her around to face him"Why are you sorry"
"Because I can't help you.I mean I'm your wife I should be able to help"he whipped her tears away
"You do help me without even know it"
"How"
"By being here Callie I know I haven't been the best husband or father lately but its going to change"he kissed her nose
"I get it Brandon I know this hasn't been easy for you but I watched my kids hurt from this"
"Hey do you for forget they are my kids now"
"They just don't understand and its my fault"she burried her head in his chest
"Hey how is this your fault Callie"he rubbed her back
"They didn't choose this life I choose it for them,they never chose to not have a Dad"
"They do have a Dad Callie.I'm right here"
She nodded sadly"I just missed you"
"I missed you too"He kissed her with so much passion
\Callie wrapped her arms around him she put her hand under his shirt and and up his back
"Cal , I don't have all clear to"he pulled away
"That sucks"she kissed his shirt
"I know"he looked at her"Can help with dinner"
"I'd like that"she took his hand and went to the stove and the two cook dinner and laughed
