"Okay Giant fans, let's hear you roarrrrrr." the announcer yelled as the stadium filled with screams from fans.
Jasmine and Jessi were screaming their hearts out as the guys ran out of the back. Jasmine immediately found Odell and smiled widely. Her and Jessi didn't sit up top with the PWC but instead in the stadium on the 1st seats.
Sitting behind them was Chris, Britt, Tyshon, Lonnie, Janice and Lionel. They wouldn't miss Odell's first game for the world, even if he wasn't playing.
Janice was so proud of her son. She knew how much it meant to him to be back on the field.
Odell was feeling the love even though he knew he wasn't going to be playing. He was happy to be there though.
"They look so good together in their uniforms." Jessi said referring to the team.
Jasmine nodded her head agreeing but all she could really think about was Odell. Before he left today he was acting kind of off.
A loud born blew as the game started.
Odell clapped along with the other bench players as the starters were playing. Honestly they were getting their asses kicked.
"Dammit!" Coach Moss said slamming his clipboard into the bench making the players jump a little.
"What the fuck is Miles doing?" Craig mumbled. "He's never like this is practice."
Odell shrugged. He didn't know what was going on but he knew that he could do better. He just didn't understand why he wasn't out there, but Miles was.
After a few more plays and a touchdown for the other team Coach Moss called a timeout.
"What the fuck is going on out there?" he screamed.
Everybody looked down while the starters got water. "I'm not gone single anybody out right now, just get your shit together, run the plays the way we fucking practiced it."
Everybody nodded. Everybody knew he was talking about Miles though. He was missing passes, passing to the wrong people and being a ball hog.
Jasmine watched as the team ran back on the field. It was only 1st Quarter but she wasn't feeling too good about this 0-6 score.
"This shit is sad." Lonnie said eating her nachos. Jasmine agreed before eating one of her Bojangles fries.
Seconds later the other team scored another touchdown causing many people to groan and get upset.
Odell shook his head as Coach called another timeout. The players ran over and grabbed water as Miles and Coach Moss started arguing.
"Miles, sit down, Odell get in there."
Odell eyes got a little wide. He didn't actually think he was going to get in even though he was the 2nd string wide receiver.
"Odell? You're going to put a rookie in over me?" Miles yelled.
"Anybody can do better than you are. You're fucking up Miles! Sit down and be quiet." he yelled back.
Miles slammed down as all eyes were on him. "What y'all looking at?" he yelled causing Odell to snicker.
