The Plan

I for one, wasn't really sure about the plan. But everyone else seemed very happy about it so I went with it.

I couldn't sleep. I crept out of my room to the balcony and stared up at the stars.

"Hey."

I whipped around, ready to shoot Blaq, my knife, into the intuder. The 'intruder' put his hands up.

"Whoa.." Jiho said, smiling. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"Oh it's just you." I said sighing. Jiho nodded. "Yes. It's just me. What are you doing out here?"

"...Nothing." I mumbled. Jiho raised an eyebrow.

"....You're not that sure about the plan, huh?" Jiho asked, staring at me. Then he stared at me some more. "You're......nervous."

I sighed. I saw no point in lying to a guy who could read people's minds, and nodded. "The day of the gem placing is tomorrow." I whispered. "I'm a little worried."

"Don't be." Jiho said, his voice calm. "Everything's gonna be okay. It's a great plan."

I smiled weakly. "I guess."

The truth was,
I didn't really trust him.
He controlled people's minds the way he wanted. It was scary how they screamed and cried in agony as Jiho took over.

And I guess Jiho got that from me too. But he didn't say anything. He just looked at me and nodded. "Yeah." He said slowly. "So....I guess I'll ...see you tomorrow."

I nodded. "You go ahead. I think I'll just stay here for a while."

"You sure?"

I nodded. "Now go."

He smiled and left, leaving me alone with the stars.

I took a deep breath. I looked around. Jaehyo loved flowers and plants so he had a small garden in our balcony. It looked really beautiful in the moonlight.

One of the roses looked like it was going to fall off any minute, all shriveled up and brown.

I knelt by the plant and touched it, carefully caressing the flower with my hands. The dying rose turned red and it started to grow again, looking as red and beautiful as it used to be.

I smiled. "Good night guys."

I walked into the livingroom, and was just about to go into my room when I heard a small voice.
I stopped.
I listened.

"Taeil..?"

I turned. "Jihoon..?"

"Hey what are you doing up?" He called quietly. "You should get some sleep for tomorrow."

"I'm fine..." I said slowly. "Just..couldn't sleep."

"Come here."

I crept down the hall and tip toed into the big guy's room. He gestured for me to come closer and I did. He gestured more. I sat on his bed.

"Lie down with me, won't you?"

I smiled. "Nightmares?"

Jihoon sighed. "No. Feelings. Just...really bad feelings that if I fall asleep alone...I'll see something I don't want to see."

"And I'm a healer." I said, lying down next to him. "You think it'll get better if I stayed?"

He nodded and I smiled. "Jihoon.."

"Your presence is healing enough." He said. "You have some sort of....aura that heals my strength and core."

I laughed quietly. "Guilty as charge, that's what I'm supposed to do, right?"

"So will you stay, doc?"

I nodded, snuggling upto him. "Yes." I said, closing my eyes.

"Always."
