The Next Morning

Jackson woke up and his face was covered in dry tears and his hair messed up. He had school today but decided to call in sick.

He walked to the bathroom and seen his face which was all red from the crying. He took a warm shower for about 20 minutes.

He got out and put on some jeans and a shirt. He walked to the living room and seen Mark there. "Mark what are you doing here shouldn't you be at school?"

Mark looked at Jackson. "I didn't feel like going." Mark said. "Oh.." Jackson said walking to the kitchen. "What happened yesterday when you where gone?" Mark asked following Jackson.

"What do you mean?" Jackson asked making cereal. "You said you liked someone but they liked someone else. What is that all about?" Mark asked. Jackson looked down.

"It's nothing.." Jackson said sitting at the table. Mark knew there was something wrong but he didn't want to pressure Jackson. "Okay..."

The rest of the day went quite and awkward. Jackson went to his room and played on his phone. He then got a message.

Jae: Jackson where where you today!?!

Jackson: I called in sick

Jae: What's really wrong?

Jackson: Nothing I just felt like being alone today

Jae: Mark is there isn't he?

Jackson: Yeah

Jae: Well I don't have anymore classes you wanna do something?

Jackson: Sure

Jae: Okay meet me in the middle of the campus

Jackson got up and walked to the front door. "Yah Jackson where are you going?" Mark asked looking at Jackson.

"I'm going to take a walk." Jackson left before Mark could say anything else. Jackson walked and seen Jae sitting on a bench.

"Hey Jackson!" Jae said walking to him. "Hey Jae what are we going to do?" Jackson asked.

"We are going to the mall." Jae said dragging Jackson to his car. Jackson agreed and they both got in the car. They drove off listening to music.

They both made it to the mall and walked around and went into some shops. They decided to go and eat since they where both hungry.

They sat and ate for about 20 minutes then a familiar voice called them. "Jackson,Jae what are you two doing here?"
