A/N Sorry, Levi might be a little OOC (out of character) for this chapter because I want him to be a little nicer towards two children. Also, Zanesa is pronounced Venesa with a Z.

Y/N- Your name

S/C- Skin color

H/C- Hair color

E/C- Eye color

Two young girls walk in the rain, holding hands and shivering. The only thing they have are the clothes on their backs and a necklace each. The necklaces are gifts from their parents. They told them to use them to their advantages before shipping them off. The girls were only three at the time and aren't totally sure what they meant, but they kept the necklaces with them at all times.

As the girls continue walking, a horse passes quickly with a person clearly eager to get away from the rain. They don't even notice and keep walking. The horse gives a loud whine. Hearing this, they turn only to find a man walking towards them. The taller one puts an arm around the other in a protective way.

The man reaches them quickly, "What are you doing out here?"

"What's it to you?" the tallest girl answers, her sister shying away from the man. Her s/c skin glistens in the rain while her h/c sticks to her forehead. He looks over at the other girl. Her mocha skin went well with her black curls.

"I'm simply curious. The name's Levi. If you can tell me what happened, I'll let you come live with me and some friends. If it's alright, that is?"

She thinks about it before finally answering him with a smile. "I guess I can tell you, mister. I'm Y/N and this is my sister Zanesa. We're three!"

Levi's surprised they can talk like that. They're three and they're talking as if they're in second grade! He quickly brushes that off though and lets them continue.
