Chapter 13

After talking with our leader, Mikasa, Zane and I were given comands to find a group and help them if needed.
After a few minutes, we found a small group harboring a few friends.

I landed and quickly started to question. "Annie! Have you seen Eren or his group?"

"No, but you may wanna ask Armin over there."

The three of us ran over to Armin who was in a corner of the roof.

Mikasa was the one to confront him, "Armin! Hey, are you hurt? Have you seen Eren?"

Zane and I sat next to him. I wrapped an arm over his shoulder, in an attempt to comfort him.

A few moments passed before he looked up with tears. He explained what happened to his squad as he kept apologizing.

My arm fell off his shoulder as everything drained away from me. My friends had died. I was right behind them and they died.

My bubble of silence was suddenly broken when Mikasa started to speak and helped Armin up.
"This is no time to be sentimental..."

She was right. This happens on the field all the time. People live and people die, but right now our job is to keep others safe.

I slowly got up, brushed off my uniform and helped Zane up. I gave her a knowing look and she nodded.

Mikasa started to explain her plan. Run through the town, get to HQ, get gas. Kill anything in our way.
Many disagreed, but Zane and I followed. We dashed off as others started to realize this was their only shot and made a trail behind us.

As the three of us sliced and diced titans left and right, I started to notice Mikasa. She was using too much gas. Before I could call out to her, she fell. Of course I let go of my gas as well and followed her. Zane doing the same thing. We all landed on a trash bin in a back alley.

I coughed, "Mikasa, what do think you're doing? You could have died!"

She didn't listen as she slid off the trash bin. Zane and I followed of course as we tried to snap her out of it. A minute passed before we heard large foot steps only belonging to a titan.

"MIKASA! SNAP OUT OF IT DAMN IT!"

She still didn't budge. Eventually the titan was in the mouth of the alley. Zane kept calling her name as I stood up, ready to fight it. When it finally reached us, I went for the hand but I wasn't the only one.
She'd snapped out of it.

The titan lundged at us and we all dashed out of the way. The hand kept coming down and unfortunately, Mikasa was not dodging quick enough. She was eventually hit towards the end of the alley. Since we had run out of blades, Zane and I just headed for her and helped her back up.

Another large footstep was headed from behind. We were cornered, out of blades. Nothing to protect us. We just stood there in silence. Suddenly the titant from behind came close, but didnt touch us. Instead, he punched the other one.

The three of us flew toward as the ground underneath us gave out to the titans foot. We all looked up to find the titan was still beating on the other. Suddenly, Mikasa was taken from behind up to a roof. I notcied it was Armin and Connie, so Zane and I followed up.

Who would of ever thought two titans fighting?
