The Only One

Chapter 15

He stares at her, becoming slightly agitated with himself for not working.

"Sorry... For that..."

His eyes widen when he realizes she's starring right at him."It's okay..."

She nods, holding the papers in her lap. "I, uh, I'm really embarrassed. I was being childish and disrespectful."

Yoongi nods, unable to look away from her flushed face as she stares down at her laptop. His eyes move down to her neck and begin to slowly lower, his heart pounding. "Well should we continue on with the... Yoongi?"

His eyes snap to hers, as his face reddens. "What?"

"...I was going to ask about the chorus, should we keep that going or uhm..."

"No let's keep doing it! Yes!"

"Okay... Good."

The four girls head down to a café to eat, Ivory quiet as she listens to Amelia and Riley talking about books. Remi walks behind them, thinking about Yoongi.

"Ivory? So, you and Hoseok?"

Ivory's face reddens, and she begins to stutter incoherently. Amelia starts to laugh.

"What about Jin?" Riley says.

Amelia's laugh halters, "Sean, Riley! Sean!"

"What about Pixie back here, she's awfully quiet."

Remi looks up at the word "Pixie".

"Huh?"

Amelia smirks. "I see someone was lost in thought,  about who though?"

"What?" Remi asks still confused.

"You have a crush don't you?"

"Why would you say that?!"

"Aww she does," Ivory says.

"No I don't."

"You don't need to lie, Remillia, you don't need to lie," Riley says.

Remi looks up dumbfounded. "No one's lying! Except maybe you guys!"

"Haha, sure. I'm sure you're perfectly fine with being single.'

"What's wrong with bring single?"

None of the other girls answer this question, because none of them actually think it's that bad. They were just teasing her.

"But, Remi why have you been so quiet?"

Remi's head goes back to Yoongi staring at her chest,  her face becoming flushed.

"The fight," she answers as calmly as possible.

"Sure."

Amelia and Ivory look back to the concrete they're walking on, but Riley keeps her eyes on Remi,  she even slows down to walk with her.

"Hey, uh, Remi?"

"Hm?"

"I wanna apologize for what Sean said to you."

"Oh?" Remi looks up at her, eyes wide.

"Yeah, he can be so inconsiderate... I mean you know how he is... And I shoulda stopped him, but I didn't. And- uh-"

"Yeah?"

"There is nothing wrong with being single. He just said that to get to you."

Remi looks down at Riley, smiling softly. "I accept your apology... I really appreciate you doing this,  actually."

Riley smiles at her, "You know, Remillia you can be really mature when you want to."

"Sean?"

"I don't think you should talk to me."

"No, I just wanna apologize... and give you food."

Sean looks up. "It's okay, because of the food. I suppose I should be apologizing too... I guess..." He takes the food and Remi nods standing up straight.

She apologizes to everyone, feeling embarrassed, but offering food to make up for it.

(A/n food heals the heart....  Or chicken...)

"Hey, Ivory?"

She looks up at J-hope. "Yeah?"

He smiles. "You're pretty," the words come out of his mouth unintended.

The two of them go red. "I dunno about that, Hoseok."

"Oppa."

She looks up at him. "What?"

"I said oppa, call me oppa." She reddens, "You are younger than me,  right?"

"Yeah- but... I don't see how that's necessary..."

"I think it is."

"Oh... Okay..."

He bites his lips. "I mean... Only if you want to..."

"No, it's okay, I can."

He smiles looking up at her. "Great!"

She reddens only nodding at him. Jimin smiles at her from across the room. Ivory looks away from him and Hoseok.

"Dammit," Remi whispers standing up and walking out of the room.

"What happened?" Namjoon asks.

"Who knows," Sean says.

"You should call me oppa," Jin says to Amelia.

"What? Why? That isn't even a specific title for a boyfriend."

"Than it shouldn't be a problem! C'mon, jagiya!"

"Enough with the titles!"

"I don't understand what the problem is with calling me oppa," Jin says.

"Ugh, fine... Oppa."
