Run Aways- (Latios/Latias Eon Ticket event: Easy hunting, just depend on luck for it.)
Random Encounters- (Depends where you go. Caves, deserts and surf encounters are very difficult. I got annoyed finding my shiny Snowrunt after the thing kept appearing and disappearing under the sand.)
Dex Nav chaining- (A little quicker to encounter that pokemon. Bring a Aero bike, the method of hopping in one place when a pokemon isn't showing up is helpful.)
Chain fishing- (Easy, but not helpful. A lot of pokemon can't be hunted this way. However, pokemon that can be hunted in this method are more common.)
Soft resets-
Certain legendaries can be Sr'd, but beware. Some are shiny-locked. Victini, Keldeo and Celebi are examples of Shiny-locked Pokemon.
