Chapter 1: The meeting

Olivia's Pov

Liv hurry up, we're getting late " Alex called from my bedroom door.

"I'm coming, hold up" I replied as I stuffed my books and everything in my bag getting ready for the first day back at Ridgewood high.

It was finally the end of summer holidays and me being me, did nothing but stay at home and hang with my 2 best friends Jamie and Alex. I knew Alex since the first day I moved here, he lives few blocks away from my house and I guess I have known Jamie since the first day of school too .Alex was the captain of the football team and Jamie was one of the most prettiest girls in our school. I'm still surprised that they were my friends, its sometimes hard to believe.

I had always lived alone in this house, I was rich as people would say but I was always lonely. My parents had died when I was a little girl so my older brother Phoenix looked after us. I have 5 brothers whom I haven't seen in years since I ran away. Phoenix was the oldest then it was Chase.Born 2 years after were the twins Mason and Carson then a year later was Nick and finally me who was the baby of the family.

"Ready, lets go" I deemed as I grabbed his hand and pulled him through my empty house out to his car. I gawked at his black Mercedes as I plopped down in the passengers seat while Alex sat beside me in the drivers seat." New car " I asked.

" Yeah, got this baby last week"he smirked as I rolled my eyes before getting relaxed and getting lost in my thought.

"Hey " A soft perky voice echoed from the window breaking me from my thoughts

"Hey" me and Alex said in unison as Jamie hopped in the backseat.

From Jamie's house, we drove to school listening to various songs that were being played on the radio.

As we reached school we got out of Alex's Mercedes and headed to the front office to get our new timetables . I had maths first with Mr Johnson so I headed to my locker to get my books while Alex went to coach and Jamie went to her locker.After a while Jamie came up to me looking rather sad.

"Hey, whats wrong" I enquired. " HELP ME, I have English with Mrs Roberts" she pouted hoping that I would help her out of this. Mrs Roberts was around her mid-thirties and was known as the teacher who hated her students and would torture them by giving them loads of homework. Luckily I didn't have her this year.

"Sorry but you know I can't do anything about it, good luck surviving through her class" I teased.

"Your lucky that you don't have her" she complained as Justin swooped his hand around her neck, kissing her forehead.

"Hey babe" he said planting a kiss on Jamie's cheeks

"Hey" she said before pecking his lips

"Hi liv" he blabed

"Hi" I replied. Me and Justin didn't really talk much to each other only when Jamie was around otherwise we barely talk.Just then the bell rang and students in the hallways began to disperse heading to their classes.

"K bye guys, see you at lunch" I said before heading to class

"Bye " they replied in unison.

My classes so far have been really boring, in first period Mr Johnson rambled on about what we would be doing this year and gave a few equations to solve then after maths I have science with ms Wilson, she is the best teacher. Before lunch I have arts with ms Morris and we did few painting and stuff. Finally it was lunch. As I entered the cafeteria I made my way to the line to get my food. After paying the lunch lady,I quickly spotted Jamie in Justin's arms and Alex with them. I made my way to them and took a seat next to Alex.

"Hey guys" I said

"Hey" they all replied

We then talked about how our classes have been well mostly me and Alex, Jamie was too busy sucking Justin's face.

"Um excuse me, but I would like to eat my lunch without gagging " I said with disgust

"Same here" Alex agreed while playing with his food

" Oh come on you guys are just jealous" Jamie replied while continuing to peck Justin

" Oh please, I'm the captain of the football team, everyone just loves me"

"ohhhhh Alex, your sooo hot, and cute and funny" I mockingly squealed in a high girly pitched voice while Justin and Jamie chuckled.

"Haha very funny" Alex replied while glaring

The bell ran as I got up and threw my rubbish away.

"k guys see u guys later" I said before leaving

"bye" they said in unison

After lunch I had Science and surprisingly wasn't that bad, Ms Jane( new teacher this year) is pretty kick back which I personally don't mind. As soon as the bell rang I headed to my locker to get my books out and headed outside waiting for Alex, apparently he has practice so I have to wait for him. On my way to the field, I couldn't believe what I saw more like who I saw. CALEB MARTINEZ ,I knew better not to get in his way but that was the only way I could go to get to Alex. As usual Caleb was with his friends Will Ryder, Matt Bryson and Cameron Gray and I could see the fury in his eyes as he was violently screaming at the person on the other side of his phone. These boys were known as the schools troublemakers or bad boys especially with the fact that they were part of a mafia.

Will Ryder was Caleb's best friend and he has jet black hair with rich brown eyes and he was known as the player of the school, he had basically slept with half the girls in this school. Matt Bryson, well he was known as the prankster, where he just loved to pull pranks on the teachers and students and like Will, Matt also has jet black hair with hazel brown eyes and Cameron Gary, well he is the quiet on in the group who doesn't really talk and no one really knew much about him other then the fact that he is friends with Caleb. Cameron has blonde with dark green eyes. It was better for those who stayed away from these boys.

Quietly I started heading towards him, with my head hanging low trying to avoid his gaze. As I was a few inches away from him, my heart started beating rapidly, my palms started sweating and I was having trouble breathing. I was anxious I don't know why but I could feel people glaring at me as I approached him.

"YES" he questioned furiously. I looked up and his me hazel green eye locked in to my baby blue eyes. As I stood there dumbfounded I took that time to take in his features. He had light golden brown hair that kinda covered one of his eyes and he had perfect pink rosy lips.

"HELLO"someone beside Caleb spoke breaking my gaze and diverting it on him while he consistently waved it in front of my face.

"oh um c-can you p-please move" I stammered while pointing behind him

"look at what we have here boys, a nerd"  Will said causing the group to chuckle except Caleb who just had a emotionless face.

"I'm sorry but I don't want to cause trouble so can u guys move and let me pass though" I replied pissed at them for making fun of me. People may know me as a nerd but I am more confident then what people see me as and I will not stand by getting bullied by some wannabe gang. I looked up to they faces and they somewhat was shocked yet confused. I ignored them and continued my way through them until I felt someone's firm grip on my wrist.I turned around to see that it was none other then Caleb.
