Chapter 4

(Your P.O.V.) 

After that whole situation, we continued to find this Greenplace that Uni keeps talking about. Which, I have to say, has been pretty terrible so far. 

We've been walking for hours in this desert climate, I felt as if I was going to pass out any moment. 

"How much longer are we going to be in this heat?" I whined. Cory looked back at me. 

"I dunno, How much farther is this Greenplace Uni?" Cory asks Uni. He just barks a couple times and Cory starts to get a little irritated. They end up arguing, at least I think. It probably would be good to know what Uni was saying. Maybe I will, but Alpha's hard to handle so maybe I'm good. 

"Okay, Okay! I ran out of water a couple miles back. Do you have anymore?" I frowned. 

"I don't think any of us has any water," Adam says rudely. The heat is obviously getting to everyone. 

I sighed and stayed quiet after that. So I just keep following Cory with Alpha following behind me. 

"If it helps, I do have my potions?" Nick offered. 

"Nobody's going to want to drink those," Adam laughed. 

"Thanks for the offer Nick," I smiled a bit. 

"SO, from Uni said is that we should be super close. He said he can sense it," Cory interrupted glaring at Nick a bit. Was the Joke not funny?

I look to Alpha, poor girl's fur is way too long for this. "Alpha, you okay?"

She looked up at me when I mentioned her name, "No, (Y/N), I feel like my paws are on fire."

I give her a sympathetic smile and bend down, scoping her into my arms. She barks in surprise. 

"What are you doing?! I swear if you throw me again," She tries to get out of my arms but is way too tired. 

"I'm carrying you so be grateful you mutt," I stick my tongue out at her. She growls but get comfortable in my arms. 

It's very awkward seeing someone who's tired carrying a big fluffy black and white dog. The things you do for love, of course I could never tell her that..

Also got some weird looks for everyone while walking. 

(Bonus Because why not:   

Uni looked at (Y/N) struggling to carry the huge dog. 

"Cory, I'm tired too," Uni stated while looking up at Cory. Hoping that he could stop walking in the heat. 

"I'm not carrying you Uni," Cory answered with a straight face. 

"But it's hot, my paws Cory..."Uni put his head down..)

We take a break from walking after a while. I fell to the ground with Alpha in my arms. 

"You need to stop eating so much," I whispered to Alpha. She jumps out of my arms and sits next to me as I lay on the ground in despair. 

"See Cory, the woman's obviously dying. We should stop for a quick break," Adam says pointing at me. 

"We can't stop right now. We can stop when we find a place to rest at," Cory looks at Dawn for support. 

"Cory is right, This weather is not suitable for 'taking rests'. We have a chance of dying out here," Dawn stated. Geez that got dark.
