The doctors walked into the waiting room just as Garrett finished hacking the camera footage of the double murder, and Dane had hidden the body of the Hanyn and assassin. The doctors had looks on their faces which reflected nowhere near how bad the situation was.
"The surgery... We know what's wrong. First degree burns head to toe, severe full-body necrosis and a cluster of Pherimphials tangled with his spinal cord. The burns and necrosis we could deal with easily. A few months maybe a year and he'll be fine. The Pherimphials... Try untying a spider silk quadruple knot without touching it. We got it free, but nine strings were cut free. What I'm trying to say is... There were complications and... The surgery was unsuccessful. He's alive, but... We don't know how severe the damages are to his body. Could be paralysis, could be an eternal coma... Could be frequent neck aches, easy to overcome" explained the doctor.
Darmanin, Mike, and Welker were the only ones at full attention. They started sobbing. Dane and Garrett stood in the shadows, emotionless.
"What now?" Asked Dane.
"We find that motherfucker and kill him..." Mumbled Kooi triumphantly.

The Yumi and the extendable Bo staff collided at high speed. The dream continued in the dead mind of Tana's coma. He remembered sparing with this Bridger chap. He learned how to fight hand-to-hand, he learned how to shoot, he worked out in many different ways and built up his mister punyverse noodle biceps, he learned how to work with a broad range of different weapons and tools. He learned tactics, he knew how to read his opponents, he learned how to use his surroundings, he learned to become a parkour King. He became a mentalist as well as an assassin, a soldier, and a monster.
Seven years it took, seven years of restless training. After he ran from his life to hunt down Bridger, he spent years in hiding with the man, learning things. He became one of the smartest men on earth. He knew most of the people in the world and how to hack the safest most secure computers of the world.
He flashed back to his childhood, abuse and bullying. Hourly beat downs with nobody caring. The life that led to that of a trained killer. He recognised a lot of things. A lot of people. He knew them all. The nerves shut down once again.

"His mind is active, on and off. He's alive and functioning. He's thinking. Recognising things, but won't remember them. His body is healed, but his skin will take a few months. We'll keep him under until then. After he awakens, we can then worry about what damages and injuries his brain has sustained" she explained.
Mike sighed after the doctor said the unsettling words. The gurneys rushed past with Dylan and the assassin on them. Garrett and Dane covered it up.
"What happened here?" The doctor cried.
"They killed each other in the east corridor, everyone has an alibi, no witness, no prints, no evidence, no skin cells for christ's sake! Footage conveniently erased" said the paramedic.
"Go into obby if you want" said the doctor as she ran into the operating theatre alongside the paramedics.
Darmanin clinger onto Mike's arm as they both gently wept, looking through the glass window at Tana, comatose on his bed. Welker stood close to the window, whispering encouragement under her breath. Dane placed his hand on her shoulder as she embraced him. Garrett walked to the back of the room, sitting down with his head in his hands. The world around him seemed to blur as only he and his fallen friend remained in clarity.

Bridger and Hornet stood in the control room overlooking the mass operation under them. Beck looked out the window.
