Jisoo's POV.

As soon as I entered my living room, I heard my parents fighting and shouting at each other.  Just an ordinary night, but it felt like living in hell.

"Do you think I'm just playing at the office? I'm trying to make money!" My dad's voice was on a high note.

"So, where's the money you are talking about? You block my credit card!" My mom didn't back down either.

"You spend too much money! My phone keeps getting notifications all day of how much you waste money! It's annoying!"

Yes. It was always like this. They fought about money, money, and money.  I walked upstairs without a bother to greet them.  I threw my bag on the floor and jumped onto my comfy bed.  I missed my bed.  I was tired of living in this house.  My parents loved me, but I didn't understand why they were fighting.
My dad's company wasn't in good shape, so he wanted us to save money.  My mom used to buy things without thinking, so my dad often yelled at her.  I knew my dad was trying hard to fix the situation, but it looked like my mom couldn't accept our condition.  When the company went bankrupt, we moved to Busan.  We lived at my grandparent's house.  But last year, my dad got his resolution to build up the company again, so we came back to Seoul.  My life was moving between Seoul-Busan and Busan-Seoul.  I used to complain a lot, but now I got tired of it and accepted it.

I got up and changed my clothes.  I went downstairs and slipped on my sneakers.  I went outside and headed to the neighborhood park.  I sat on the bench and just stared blankly. My mom kept calling me since I went out without telling my parents.  May it was an hour when I got a message from Mark.

Where are you? Your mom is looking for you...

I let out a sigh.  It must be my mom.  She called him to ask him where I was.

I'm at the park.

Get back home now.  I'm on my way to your house.

I got up and started walking while typing my reply, paying no attention to what was in front of me.  I bumped into someone, and my phone fell to the ground.  He picked up my phone, but instead of handing it to me, he stared at me.  He looked annoyed.

"Give my phone back."

"Can you say sorry first? It's your fault."

I knew it was my fault.  But I wasn't in the mood to play a good girl, especially to him.

"Give it back." I tried to reach for my phone, but he lifted his hand over his head.  I couldn't get it.

"Say sorry first."

I stomped my feet, feeling annoyed, but he still glared at me. "Give it back."

A boy came to us, took my phone from him and gave it back to me.  "Sorry, my brother is in a bad mood.  I'm Taehyung." He said as he extended his arm.

"Kim Jisoo."  I said.

"I know you. We are from the same school." He smiled.  I looked closely, but I felt like I never meet them before.  "We are in science class.  You are in Liberal Arts, right?  Our classes are in the other buildings, so we never met officially."  Taehyung explained when he noticed my confused expression.

"Nice to meet you, Taehyung."

"Let's call each other when we see next time.  For now, we will leave first.  Sorry." Taehyung apologized

"It's alright.  I'm on my way home."  I said.

Taehyung waved his hands as he smiled at me.  In contrast, Jungkook did not even look at me.  I quickly run to my house.
_______

Taehyung's POV.

I came to JYP's territory with Jungkook.  Honestly, I didn't want to go, but I couldn't reject Namjoon's order.  Hoseok got information that JB was seen in this neighborhood.  He possibly came back to his house, so here I was.  I went to this area to check whether the information was accurate.  When we entered the park, I noticed a girl sitting alone on the bench.  Walking closer,  I recognized her.  Kim Jisoo.  She was a close friend of the JYP.  Last year when I saw her for the first time when she was sitting in the cafeteria with Mark's group.  And I found it amusing; Mark was smiling.  I remember my blood boiled at sight.  Knowing my character, Yoongi gave me a warning.  Don't touch her or leave the country.  Like it wasn't enough, Namjoon, as the leader, threatened to lock me at the Hex, cutting me off from the connection to the outside world.  So I didn't do anything.  The hyung line gave me so much work so eventually, I forgot about her and Mark.

But it looked like my time had come.  Like it was fate, she bumped into Jungkook.  I didn't want to waste the chance, so I introduced myself to her.  She looked bewildered, but it was acceptable.  It was enough for a start.  This meeting got me excited.  Jungkook narrowed his eyes at me like he knew what I was thinking.
"Don't worry, I won't do anything," I said, simply lying.  "So don't tell the hyungs about our meeting with her."

_______

Jisoo's POV.

"I'm hungry," I said as soon as I sat down at the cafeteria with Sana and Youngjae.  I took a mouthful bite of my croissant.

"Slow down, or you will die from choking." Youngjae scowled at me.

I grinned at him.  I looked at the snack station and spotted Taehyung and Jungkook together.  Taehyung waved his hand at me, and I smiled in return.  And Jungkook? He stared at me with an annoyed look on his face.  Is he still mad at me? But, well, we weren't friends, so I didn't care.

I felt a light tap on my shoulders.  It was Mark.  He took the empty seat beside me the put down a triangle kimbap and strawberry milk.  "No wonder you are hungry.  You always skip your meal."

"Thanks, Mark."  I smiled and then looked around.  "Jackson and Yugyeom?"

"I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders.  "Yugyeom texted he couldn't join us and that after school, he will go somewhere.  I don't know.  Maybe a date.  You will have a practice with Youngjae, right? Should I wait for you?"

"No, it's okay." I said.  "I'll go to the bookstore later"

_______

"Jisoo, your beat is off again,"  Youngjae complained for the fifth time.  "You seem not to focus today.  Something's on your mind?"

"Sorry, I'll practice alone, and you can rest." I gave him an apologetic smile.

Youngjae sat on the sofa, gulping down the cold water while I practiced the song repeatedly, but it got worse.

"This won't do,"  Yongjae said from across the room. "Let's continue tomorrow.  You are tired."

"Okay."  Defeated, I stood up and packed my things.  Felt sorry for Youngjae. I promised to buy him lunch tomorrow before we bid farewell.

I went to my locker and took a few books from my bag.  After making sure I locked my locker, I suddenly felt dizzy.  I felt something warm dripping from my nose.  I had a nosebleed.  No wonder I skipped meals and lacked sleep; it must be the cause.  I was struggling to take out my handkerchief from my bag as my head got worse.  I leaned my back on my locker.  I closed my eyes, trying to calm down.
Inhaled.  Exhaled.  Inhaled.  Exhaled.

"Jisoo?"
