Jisoo's POV.

I kept turning around in my bed as I couldn't fall asleep. The night was quiet, and I could hear the tik tok sound from my clock on the wall. I let my room dark, only lights from outside sipping through my curtain sheer gave me a source of light. I kept glancing at my phone beside me. I was waiting for Mark's reply, but I got no luck. Waiting, uncertain, made me overthink. My thoughts were so loud tonight that I would get a headache.

My feeling was right. They were hiding something from me. I never see my friends fight with someone like that night. I knew they were trying to protect me, but it felt different. After that night, Mark started to avoid me, and the others were cautious around me. They were changing. When I confronted Yugyeom the other day, as I expected, he avoided me. When I asked Jungkook the same question, his reaction was identical to Yugyeom's. So I concluded there was something between them.

I glanced at the clock, and it was already past midnight. I have a quiz tomorrow, so better if I try to sleep now. I walked downstairs to steal my dad's wine from the kitchen. A couple of sips would help me sleep. As I took the second sip, I heard my mom emerge from the master bedroom, dragging her suitcase. My dad cut her path, trying to stop her.

"Where do you think you are going? Are you lost your mind?" My dad asked sternly.

"I had enough. I can't stand it anymore! I want to divorce!" My mom exploded.

"I told you so often, I'm not gonna do it." My dad said firmly.

"Don't you see I'm suffering? I want to leave this place!" My mom yelled.

My dad was trying to hold himself. "What about Jisoo? Are you going to leave her?"

"Jisoo will understand." My mom said firmly.

"Hanbyul.." My dad called her softly.

"I'm falling out of love. Let me go, please?" My mom begged.

My dad stared at her without saying anything. After seconds, my mom left the house just like that. I froze in my spot, trying to process the scene before me. My dad stayed still for a while. He shook his head and went back to his room. I could hear things breaking. I could picture what my dad was doing right now. He took out his anger by throwing things to the floor.

I got hold of myself and ran outside, looking for my mom. I wanted an explanation from her. I wanted her back. I looked around, but she was already gone. But I didn't give up. I ran and ran, going through the dark street until I couldn't breathe. I stopped when I reached the intersection. I stood there blankly, letting the chilly night pierce through my body.
