Chapter 10: Showcase

Chen's P.O.V.

I was sitted in front of the mirror, styling my hair, preparing for my comeback showcase. Today is 26th of March, Minseok hyung's birthday, the same day five years ago, I met Yoonhye for the first time.

Speaking of that, it reminds me of the incident happened a week ago. I didn't even know why I did that. I don't even know why I kissed her. Maybe it's because the position of us that time, that she is being trapped down by me on the couch.

Because of that, she had been avoiding me for a week. I don't really meet her for the whole week, except once, when I was going out, she came back just in time. I was going to talk to her but then she had walked pass me, looking soullessly.

"What happened to you and Yoonhye?" Yoojin asked as he put his hands on my shoulder. "Quarrel?"

"No." I shook my head slightly. "Something private between me and her." I smiled a bit and said.

Yoojin sighed. "She's here today. If you did something wrong towards her, you should go and apologize to her. Even if you didn't you should go and make up with her too. Girls are sensitive, Jongdae."

"Why are you telling me these though?" I asked, looking at Yoojin from the mirror.

"I thought you like her eh?" Yoojin asked.

"Me?" I scoffed a bit and said. "Since when I said that I like her?"

"You never did but your actions meant it."

"My actions?"

"You were asking the stylists if they had seen your assistant, isn't it? A lot of them told me about this when I came in."

"I just happened...I just want to know is she around."

"Dude, if Yoonhye is around here, everyone will know it."

"Why?" I asked back.

"She is the only female around here, and besides, she's pretty. The workers would've talked about her."

"She isn't pretty, at all. My Yoonhye is prettier."

"I really wish that I can hit you. They look just the same, Jongdae, please."

"You might think that but I never think so." I curled my lips and said.

Yoojin then tossed me an album. "Here, give it to Yoonhye as an apologize gift. It depends if you wanted to sign on it or not. I'll recommend you not to because if she is mad at you, she might throw the album into the dustbin immediately." Yoojin joked.

"Then I must sign on it." I joked. I looked up once again and saw a girl running towards our direction. It must be her.

"I'm sorry for being late." Yoonhye apologized as she reached both of us.

"It's okay. It's not a big deal though, since we've got everything prepared by the workers. All you had to do is check it once again. I mean the schedule."

"Alright." She nodded and answered.

"I'll go around and check if everything is done. You'll stay here first, Yoonhye." Yoojin said. I sent a death glare for Yoojin for leaving me alone with her, but he just simply ignored it.

After Yoojin left, Yoonhye pulled a chair over and sat down beside me. Oh, well, not beside me, but I can consider it as because there is nothing between us. Just air.

I extended the hand that I am holding the album to her and said, "This is for you." She took it and kept into her bag, mumbling thanks. I hesitated for a while, and then said, "Sorry, for last week."
