Chapter 16: Memories

Chen's P.O.V.

"Wait, you aren't kidding about that, is it?" I asked, with my eyes widened.

"No." Joonmyeon answered calmly from the other side.

I bit my lips slightly and thought about what Joonmyeon had told me. "Okay, thank you for informing me about that, hyung."

"No problem, Jongdae. You know, just like Yixing, I really think that there will be one day when you fell for her."

I chuckled. "I already did, hyung."

"Oh, really?" He chuckled as well and asked.

"Since when I ever lied to you?"

"You never did." Joonmyeon laughed slightly and said. "Okay, I have to end the call now. I still have a lot of documents to look through."

"Alright, still want to thank you, hyung." I ended the call after that. Joonmyeon is always busy, as usual.

Joonmyeon told me that his family arranged an engagement for him and surprisingly, the person is Yoonhye. Not my Yoonhye who had passed away, the Yoonhye I am talking about now is the Yoonhye who is m assistant.

Speaking of her, it had been a few days since I saw her, after the day when I confessed. It's like, she's been avoiding me like how she did last time when I kissed her. I wonder how she is doing now.

I've been thinking a lot for the past few days, thinking if what she said is true, thinking of do I really love her because who she is, do I really love her, should I court her or not. Chanyeol became my advisor out of all sudden.

Since Seolrim will be facing the exams for being a specialist, so Chanyeol isn't going to their honeymoon yet. According to them, they will be going right after Seolrim's exams finished.

Chanyeol told me that I should've man up and court her if I really like her, but the problem is the way she treat me is like she hates me a lot. Well, regarding to that, Chanyeol said that there's no problem because what I have to do first is change her perspective towards me.

I asked him about the ways, but he said be clingy around her. That is what he did towards Seolrim sometimes. He did that whenever Seolrim ignored him. He will follow her around, even when she is out for classes, he'll be outside the school and wait for her class to be finish.

However, I guess that if I really done that to Yoonhye, she'll find me annoying and she might even hate me more.

I want to use my actions to change her perspective towards me. People say, action speaks more than words, and there's a Chinese drama that said that look at what the person had done, not what he said. The later one was what Yixing told me five years ago, when I was together with my Yoonhye.

It had been such a long time since I had schedules. After the promotions of the album ended, I get to rest again, until I start for the preparation of the repackage album which might start in no time. I've passed up the lyrics that I wrote for the title song of repackage album, and what I am waiting for now is the demo of the song.

I opened the door for a little and peeked out. Her door was closed. I opened the door wider and looked around. There's no one around. Of course, what am I expecting? There are only two of us who live on this floor.

I suddenly felt so happy and glad that I had made a right choice to choose to live here and not letting Jongin come and bother me. Jongin and I don't live together. He's living together with Krystal. I always wonder when will Jongin be married with Krystal, but he said that he will after I married.

That is what he said recently, after I told him about Yoonhye. Before, he just said that he will after I found myself a girlfriend. He's just joking, I guess, because both of them are still young and Krystal once told me that they are about to register to be husband and wife.
