The party was really getting started when I came back out. Girls and Boys were standing in every area of the house. Carter has a large pool and patio in her back yard so her card with the party information said to bring a swimsuit.

Loud music was pounding through the speakers and I silently thanked Carters parents for liking their privacy and building their home away from other homes.

"Yooooo," a voice slurred behind me slurred.

I turned around to be met with a very drunken Tyler.

"Why hello Summer," Tyler drawled. "You look great!"

I blushed and he wobbled off into the other room.

"Hey Summer," a hand tapped my shoulder as I walked towards the kitchen to get a drink.

"Hey Carter," I said as she came into view. "I'm getting a drink do you want one?"

"No," Carter said as she held up her beer bottle. "I'm good!"

I nodded and poured myself a cup of Dr. Pepper. I didn't plan on getting drunk tonight.

"Summer," Carter yelled over the music. "Let's go out back!"

I nodded my head to let her know I understood then took my cup and walked outside.

It was much quieter outside without the music. Some people were swimming while others were standing around talking.

"Hey awesome party Carter!" A boy shouted as he walked past.

Carter nodded and took a sip from her beer.

"Hey sis," a drunken Tyler slurred as he walked outside. "You shouldn't be drinking that."

Carter pulled her bottle away from him as he attempted to make a grab for it. He stumbled a bit then caught himself.

A big group of people walked outside after Tyler and it soon became very loud outside as people got into swimsuits and started swimming.

A contest began about who could make the biggest splash in the pool and people were betting on it.

"I'm gonna win!" Tyler shouted as he sloshed his alcohol out of his cup.

Tyler ran full speed ahead at the pool and canon-balled in making a decent sized splash.

Everyone cheered and Tyler came out of the pool looking victorious.

"He is a piece of work," Carter giggled.

"Should we get in?" I asked as everyone started piling into the pool with Tyler.

Carter nodded and motioned towards my drink.

I handed it to her and she proceeded to walk over to a patio table and set them down. She waved me over and we piled our clothes on the table before going and standing near the pool.

"I did my hair really good today too," Carter rolled her eyes as she fluffed out her hair.

We were standing by the pool for a moment waiting to get in when the back door opened and a bunch of guys ran out in their swim trunks and piled into the pool.

"Look out!" A males voice said.

As I turned to look somebody ran into me and we both went sprawling into the pool. I quickly plugged my nose and swam back up to the top.

I laughed when I reached the surface and looked around to see Carter also in the pool smacking her brother.

I didn't know who knocked me in but I just swam around for a moment.
