Cindy twirled the pen around with her fingers, mildly entertaining herself like she would a cat with a mouse toy.

"You're a very special boy, Bobby." One of the make-a-wish people (Cindy thought he said his name was Kyle) told Bobbie.

It had been three months since the diagnosis came through. Her parents had applied for Bobby to be a Make-a-wish child and they got the confirmation 6 weeks later. Now two Make-a-wish representatives had arrived to discover the details of Bobby's wish and fill out paperwork.

"I am?" Bobby said, confused.
Cindy felt a little smile sprout on her face. Her brother had no idea.

"We are going to make a wish of your come true." Kyle continued and smiled.

"What kind wish?" Bobby asked cocking his head to the side, so much so that his head was laying on his shoulder.

"Any!" Kyle's co-worker, Joanna (Cindy remembered that this time), beamed.

Bobby sat straight up and gasped excitedly.

"We had kids go to Disney, be a superhero, go on cruises. Many!" Joanna said excitedly.

Bobby squealed with pure delight. "I want to see Peter Pan!" Bobby shouted with such enthusiasm. His eyes were sparkling. "I wanna see him, Tinker Bell, the lost boys," Bobby got a grin like the one he got when he sticking a whoopie cushion under someone's seat, "Wendy, John, and Michael!"

Cindy laughed lightly then covered it up both a cough. Which turned into a coughing fit.

"Sid?" Bobby said curiously.

Cindy held up a thumbs up, her cheeks bright red. "Sorry, tickle in my throat."

Bobby covered his mouth and laughed at her.

The real reason Cindy was laughing was because Bobby had this huge crush on Wendy. Cindy found it adorable but it was weird at the same time.

SHE'S A CARTOON!

"I'm sure we can make that happen." Joanna said as she seemed to be flagging Kyle down.

Cindy pursed her lips together. Bobby does know that Peter Pan and his friends won't look like the cartoon. Right?

"I want to meet them at Disney World." Bobby said as a dreamy look covered his face.

"Why would that be?" Cindy ' s father asked.

"Because that's where the magic happens. Tinker bell's fairy dust is magic, therefore they need to be together for the fairy dust to work." Bobby explained. He said it so logically it was if he were explaining to them why two plus two equaled four.

"So you want to fly?" Cindy asked, raising an eyebrow.

Bobby turned and looked at her, nodding his head so rapidly Cindy expected it to snap off of his neck. "I do! I do!" Bobby said excitedly, his voice raising in octaves.

Cindy laughed at her little brother as she came over behind him and hugged his shoulders.

"Do you believe in fairies?" She asked him.

Bobby looked Cindy straight in the eyes and said: "Yes, I do."

"Well now," Kyle said breaking off the interaction between the two siblings, "let's tell you about your stay." Kyle's eyes twinkled.

Kyle and Joanna went on to explain on how they'd be staying in the make-a-wish town.

"Instead of staying in RVS or renting a hotel you get your own place." Joanna gushed.

Cindy entertained her brother as he zoned out. He obviously didn't care unless it had something to do with Peter Pan and Wendy Darling.

Suddenly Bobby sat up, leaned forward, and clasped his two hands together out in front of him in a very business manner.

"Yes, Bobby?" Cindy 's father said as he glanced up from the paperwork he had been filling out.

"What's in it for Cindy?" The words caught Cindy off guard, but she smiled. Touched by the fact her brother was thinking of her.

"I get to come too. If you want me to." Cindy said with a smile.

"Of course I want you to come." Bobby scoffed.

"Then what do you mean?" Joanna asked, obviously curious.

"Cindy needs to meet Cinderella and get a prince." Bobby said in a diplomatic style.

Cindy just sat in her seat, looking at her brother.

"Why do I ne-"

"She loves Cinderella." Bobby stated matter of factly, cutting Cindy off.

"Not any-"

"Oh don't lie, you still sing Cinderella songs to me." Cindy felt her cheeks turn into a crimson color.

Cindy did simply adore Cinderella when she was younger. In ways she still did, she knew all the lines to the Cinderella musical written by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Plus, her goal was to play the role of Cinderella one day in the ballet. Cindy knew that the ballet existed, she had seen something about it somewhere. Even if she did and it was a fake article, a girl could hope.

"I think we can make a few arrangements to that." Kyle said with a smile.

"A prince?" Her mother questioned. Cindy sighed.

"I sometimes sing to Bobby the song Snow White sang at the well. She's saying on how someday her prince would come. Instead I say princess for tweedle-dee over here." Cindy said and jutted her thumb over to Bobby.
Kyle smiled as he wrote something down.

"You don't have to include that part." Cindy said.

Kyle smirked. "Don't worry about Cinderella, the prince will be harder to find though." Kyle said with a chuckle.
