Courtney's POV
I had been able to here the voices clearer over the past few days and I had been trying to just talk. Shayne had been talking to me so I knew he was in my room and I kept trying to say something anything just to get his attention, but it wasn't working and I was worried he was starting to give up.
I heard him start to walk away and I tried one last time to get his attention. Sha-ayne I heard coming from my voice. I did it I started to freak out. And for a few seconds I heard nothing. Then I just heard Shayne and another voice I didn't recognize. He was telling me to open my eyes, I didn't think I could but I had to try.
And for the first time in what had seemed like forever I managed to pry open my eyelids. Seeing again was a bitter sweet moment, the minute I open my eyes I got an excruciating headache but I saw him.
Shayne instantly burst into a smile and started to cry.
------fast forwards to when Courtney's able to have visitors in her hospital room---------
Shayne's POV
It had been about 5 hours since Courtney woke up and she was finally done getting blood work and such. It was killing me that I couldn't go in that room.
Everyone else had shown up and they were all so happy. We couldn't believe that she finally woke up.
The doctor said we could go in to see her but that we could only go one at a time so we wouldn't over crowd her.
As I walked in I knew I would have to be calm so I wouldn't freak her out but I was having trouble containing my excitement. Once I opened the door her face broke into a giant smile.
"Hey" I said "hey" she replied
Sorry it took me so long to update and if this chapter is boring but the next one will be much much better! :) And thanks for all the support on the story!
