"Mrs.Hood you can't go in there," someone yelled.
Suddenly the door in front of me opened. A women and a girl behind her came in. The women sat down on the sofa. I looked at the girl standing next to the door. She looked around my age. She had a school uniform on.
The girl look like... Hazel. She had brown eyes and dark brown hair just like Hazel did. Then I remembered the fire. But that was nine years ago. Now I'm fourteen. I looked at the girl closer and I saw a red, sparkling, glowing thing circling around her.
"You see it right?"The girl said."Hi, I'm Kayla. The red glowing thing is my power level. But I'll talk about it when we get home." I didn't know what she was talking about. But I've seen the red glowing thing before. It use to circle me and it still does.
"Wait, what do you mean? What home?"I asked.
"Hello Calum, you can call me Mrs.Hood. I'm Kayla's mom. We're going to take you to our house to teach you about your powers and how to control it," Mrs.Hood said.
"Wait, how do you know my name?" I asked.
"The guy who works here told us your name and how your a demon. But I know your not a demon because your one of us, your the same as me,"Kayla replied.
