Faces of nameless people flashed before her. But they always came back to one. Emma Jones stared back at her expressionless, just a glimpse of a cold, uncaring face every couple of seconds. But the whispers that surrounded her, those were the heartbreaking screams and sobs of a broken soul. Help me, Jennifer! Save us all! Save us, save us, please… As the voices overlapped into a senseless mummer, they rose in pitch until all that was left was a heart piercing, gut wrenching, hopeless moan of pure despair. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, so sorry, sorry, sorry! Jennifer screamed in her dream, I'm sorry!

Gasping, she sat up in bed, her sheets soaked with sweat. Emma's face still haven't left her mind and she still felt that overwhelming sense of guilt that she had in her nightmare.

Her heart racing out of her chest, Jenn slowly got up from her bed and went into the bathroom. Gripping the sides of the counter, she stared into her reflection. After a couple seconds, she looked away and turned her back to the mirror. Crossing her arms over her chest, she tried, and failed to think about anything other than her nightmare, her conversation with Kate came to mind. She couldn't help it, her subconscious had gotten Kate's ridiculous idea stuck  in her brain and she couldn't get it out. With a sigh, Jennifer walked over to her computer and started researching stuff.

About an hour later, Jenn had found everything she needed about the cases. Taking a deep breath, she picked up the phone and called Jesse.

  “Hello?” Jesse's groggy voice answered.

  “Hi, Jess.”

“Jen? What the hell? it's three in the morning!”

“I know, I know! I'm sorry, but would you mind meeting me in the old library at about nine tomorrow? It's important.” Jen said.

“For wha-” Jesse started to ask.

“It's about our cases.”Jen replied curtly.

  “Okay, sure. But why at-?”

“ Alright, thanks Jesse.” Jen said without giving him a chance to finish. “See you then, bye”

Hanging up the phone, she sighed. That one was easy. But she still had more people to call.

After, she lay there starting at the ceiling until her alarm went off at eight am. Wide awake despite getting zero sleep, she quickly jumped up and got ready to meet everyone.
