There once was a time not so long ago, far far away, where all the fairy tales we were told as kids weren't fairy tales. Where the hero's and villains we all read about as kids were real. Although if you saw them now, you probably wouldn't recognize them, there older of course and well the fact of the matter is, they walk amongst their enemies. There is no more magic, and no more war.

Sixteen years ago a shooting star went through the sky and drained the whole world of its magic, but considering it was just one tiny city that actually had magic it didn't make that big of an impact.  After everyone lost their magic, they became less as enemies, and after a year or so finally lived like normal people getting married and having kids. Of course it was not all do to the lose of magic as our favorite villains got old and wanted to settle down, they kind of gave up, the lose of magic just pushed them. This is where I come in.

No I am not a child of some fairy tale characters, in fact I don't even know who my parents are, the fairy tale characters, found me in the center of town square, no one knew where I came from and no one ever claimed me. All I knew was that it was two short hours later I was found in the middle of what grew to a battle field, as they began to blame each other.  So I was raised as an orphan by the three fairies. Flora, Fauna and, Merriweather. I am sixteen years old with light brown hair and bright brown eyes. I go to school with every other kid in this town because oddly enough we are all only months apart, but if you have a second kid well that's all up to you, because teachers often stayed with us.

I am the youngest in my class, and have only one friend Alice and the Hatter's son, Issic.  And to be truthful I never really had a shot at making any friends besides him because kids around  here were taught to hate me ever since I showed up, people claimed I was magic or some other crazy theories, I would rather not talk about. Today was the first day of our junior year, I hate school, and I know what your thinking 'everyone hates school' but no I  go to a prep school where everyone is royal,  then there is me the girl that doesn't even have a family let alone a crown.

The bus stopped in front of the school and everyone filed off, "earth to princess, hello, did you here me?" Issic says waving his hand in front of my face, as we walk through the front doors, of Cinderella's old castle, which is now our beloved school.

I inhale a long breath then speak, "I am not a princess and no I didn't." I say annoyed, moving his hand.

"The royal tea party is coming up and I know you never go because you aren't royal but my dad is..." I started to tune him out, as we walked to our first period. When we arrived at the door he was still talking so I cut him off.

"Issic if you stop talking I will go to the stupid party." He stopped and turned to me.

"Really," he exclaimed, with a little more hip in his hop. "Great because my mom made you a dress, oh and did I mention its on your birthday." I stopped, frozen, I hated my birthday, even more than school, because its not really my birthday but the day they found me. And Isabell, Rapunzel's daughter, makes sure to point that out every year. I mean it really is my birthday because I was only a few hours old, but it was the middle of the night so I could be one day earlier.

But every year my birthday rolls around, and well my best friends father is the Hatter after all, so they make sure to celebrate with me because the fairies just make me a cup cake then leave the house. I sucked in a breath, preparing myself and walked in, immediately running into someone. At second glance I recognized him as Arron White, son of snow white, caption of the football team, and of course my crush.

"Sorry about that," I blushed, and headed for my seat, while all this friends laugh. there in eleven people in this class Issic sadly is not one. I sit down seconds before the bell rings and look around, I feel claustrophobic surrounded with these Princesses and Princes.

"Okay class, this week we have the yearly tea party, can anyone tell me why." I am the only one to raise my hand because i am probably the only one who knows.

"Its the day in which magic was taken by a star. The one that brought me here." Which in fact wasn't the truth there was no star, or magic involved in my appearance because I showed up hours after the star. Actually, the people that investigated my case said it was more likely to have been Mother Gothel, but they werent going to tell the people that, becuase they didnt want to believe it themsleves, but I've seen the tapes.

"Right you are." But it was the only truth she knew.
