My eyes fluttered open. It was pitch black in the room. Was it still night? We don't have windows down here so I can't tell. I feel the next to me to find no Luke. I frowned. Maybe it is morning. I saw his phone on the nightstand and clicked it to check the time. It read 2:47 am. Why am I up this earlier and where is Luke? I crawled out of bed and threw on a pair of my sweatpants. I excited the room and walked down the hallway. I found Michael's room and knocked on the door hoping he was awake. He came to the door and had huge bags under his eyes. "Oh my gosh I'm sorry did I wake you up?" "No no you're fine I was playing video games, come in." He motioned for me to come in so I did. "Do watcha need at this fine hour?" "I was wondering if you knew were Luke was." His eyes got wide. He made the O shape with his mouth. "No I have no clue, but he would probably want you to go stay in bed so off you go!" He said pushing me out of his room. How rude.
I walked down the dimmed hallway, running my hand against the wall to find my way. I found the dining room easily. I heard a muffled noise coming from the kitchen. I slowly pushed open the door peeking inside. I saw someone crouched down in the corner. I recognized it as Luke. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his back. "Luke?" I asked with a shaky voice. He turned around his eyes glowing a bright red. What the hell?! I quickly backed away from him and examined him more. He had a huge chunk of raw meat in his hands. Was he eating that?! I turned around and ran, I didn't know where I was going but I was getting away from him. I had tears streaming down my face and everything was blurry. My face smashed into something hard. I felt two hands grab me. I screamed and backed up. "What's going on?! It's me Ashton!" I ran to him hugging him tightly. "It's...Luke!" I manage to say through sobs. "It's okay shhhh it's okay." Ashton said soothingly rubbing my back. I started to calm down and my vision wasn't so blurry anymore.
After Ashton found me he brought me to Calum's room and told me not to leave unless he said to. Calum thankfully went and got me a pair of my sweatpants and a hoodie because I was freezing and shaking from fear. He gave me his phone to distract me from what happened but it wasn't working. Calum just left the room telling me not to leave unless him or Ashton say so. I crawled into Calum's bed and got under the covers. I started playing a game called geometry dash to pass the time and it was quit frustrating.
I heard a light knock on the door. "Can I come in?" Thank goodness it's Ash. "Yes.." I replied. Ashton opened to door and walked over to me. "Do you trust me?" I looked at him curiously. "I-It depends." I stuttered. "Please just trust me." He pleaded holding out his hand to me. I took it and he gently pulled me out of the bed. Ashton guided me down the hallways till we came upon a door I recognized. "N-no please I don't want to g-go in there I-if h-h-he is in there." I stuttered. "Hey it will be okay." Ashton gave me a reassuring smile. He slowly opened to door and I saw the backs of Michael and Calum. The moved back looking at me sympathetically. I looked forward to see the worse thing. They had Luke chained to a chair. I suddenly forgot about what happened with him earlier and ran to him. "Luke?! Luke are you okay?!" I asked holding his face in my hands. He had his eyes closed and his head hung down. "Rae please get away from him." Michael asked me. "NO! Why did you do this to him?!" I screamed at them. Ashton came closer to me. "We had to." He said with a saddened look. I had my back turned to Luke. Ashton kept coming closer so I backed up. I ran into Luke's body and felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. I screamed out in pain tears now streaming down my face. I felt someone pull me away. I looked over at my right shoulder to see two holes cut out of my hoodie and two red bleeding ones on my shoulder. It burned, I clutched my shoulder in pain. I looked in front of me to see Luke eyes glowing that same yellowish gold and he had fang like teeth with blood dripping from them. I froze. I didn't even know what to do in this moment. I mean it's not like anything like this has happened to me before. I kept starring into Luke's peculiar eyes. I was almost admiring them. I winched at the pain in my shoulder. I looked to see his face soften and the fangs retract into his teeth and the glowing eyes merge into the beautiful blue ones. "Rae?! Rae princess I'm so sorry! I would never mean to hurt you!" He would never mean to but he just did hurt me. I held onto Ashton's arm wanting comfort. I know what Luke just did but I wanted comfort from him.
"Why the hell would you do that Luke?!" Ashton screamed, startling me. "I-I didn't mean to it wasn't me." He cried. I whimpered. I didn't like seeing him like this. "Will everyone just please calm down. Rae is obviously frightened and she needs to know." Calum said trying to calm ash and Luke down. "W-What do I need to know." I said moving out from behind Ashton. Ashton turned to me. "Do you know about werewolves?" I nodded. "Turn around and close your eyes for me." I did as he said. I heard shuffling but I soon heard what sounds like bones cracking and braking making me wince. "You can turn around now." Michael said quietly. I turned around to be faced with a giant light brown wolf with gold eyes. My eyes widened. "I-is that A-Ashton?" I stammered pointing at this 6 foot wolf. The wolf nodded its head. I looked to see next to him a big but smaller then the other one dark brown wolf. That must be Calum. I looked at Michael. "B-but what about you." His teeth grew into fangs and eyes turned red. "Vampire." He stated. But I thought vampires and werewolves were sworn enemies. "A-and L-Luke is a.." "Werewolf." He said hanging his head in shame. This is all so overwhelming. Before I knew it I had passed out.
