Jessica's POV:

I felt like for once, I could be happy. I've always wanted to be happy like this. Austin made me feel like the luckiest girl alive. Austin helped me calm down a bit as we ate our food. We finished our food and went home. I carried Mia into the house.

"Hey Jess... You coming with us?..." Kendall asks.

I shook my head. "Sorry Kendall. I'm tired today. Maybe next time. Plus. I don't wanna ruin your guys night out."

"Alright. We'll hear your voice on stage next time." Kendall smiles, walking out with my dad and the other guys.

I said good night to my mom and brother and walked up the stairs. I put Mia in her room and laid her down on the bed. I kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight sweetheart." I whisper, getting up and walking into my room.

Austin was already in his boxers, laying down on the bed. I roll my eyes.

"Oh Austy..." I giggle.

I take off my dress and hang it up in my closet. I put on shorts an a tank top and pick up Austin's clothes off the ground. I folded them and hung them up neatly in the closet. I walked over and laid down on the bed beside him. He pulls me closer to him as he pulls the blankets over us both. I snuggle against his bare chest.

"So... How does it feel to be the future Mrs. Mahone?" Austin asks, kissing the top of my head.

"It feels like a dream come true..." I reply, closing my eyes. "Austin?..."

"Hmm?" Austin replies.

"Can you sing to me?..." I ask, sleepily.

I hear him chuckle. "Sure thing baby."

His voice echoed in my ears as I felt myself being lured into deep sleep.

I found myself in an alley. It was dark out. I slowly walked out of the alley and onto the empty streets. I turned right and started walking when I felt a presence behind me. I kept walking, hoping I was just merely imagining things, but I wasn't. I felt a strong hand grab my arm and spin me around. He covered my mouth and held a knife up to my neck.

"Why are you still alive bitch?... I thought I killed you. Just like I killed your parents in that 'accidental' car crash." His voice boomed in my ear.

It was him... The hooded figure... I yelped as I felt the knife dig deeper into my neck.

"Say goodbye to life girly..." The voice smirks.

"NO!!!!!!" I yell, jolting up, sweating like crazy.

I started breathing irregularly. I was scared. I felt Austin hug me tightly, rubbing my back in soothing circles.

"Shhh. It's okay baby... You're okay... It's just a nightmare..." Austin whispers in my ear. "It's okay..."

I started to cry. I thought I finally forgot about him. I guess not. Austin kisses my head.

"It's okay... Don't cry... Shhh." Austin whispers, rocking me back and forth on his lap.

I heard him sing, luring me to sleep. I urged myself to resist, not wanting to witness that horrible scene again. But my eyes got heavier as time passed on until I finally felt them droop. I fell asleep.

*next morning*

I woke up and glance up at the time. It was 10 in the morning. Shit. I yawned and noticed a note on the nightstand.

Hey Mrs. Mahone ;),

I went out with your brother. He said he needed to buy some things for his gaming systems. Your mom took Mia out to the park. Your dad slept over at Carlos's house. You were having such a rough night that I decided to let you sleep in. I love you.

I smiled and got up. I grabbed my clothes and head to the shower. I started taking a shower when I felt someone there.

"Austin?..." I call out. "Is that you?"

No response. I continued to take a shower when I heard the bathroom door open. I tried to make out the figure from the shower, but I couldn't. I watched in horror as the figure slowly started to make its way toward me. I froze. The figure opened the shower door and I screamed. It was him. The hooded figure that I thought was history. I screamed as he grabbed my wrist as tried to drag me out of the shower.

Austin's POV:

"Damn bro." I chuckle. "You must love games."

We walk up to the front door.

"Just like my dad." Dylan laughs.

Dylan turned the knob and the door opened. Wait... I know I specifically locked the door... I rushed inside just as I heard a scream from upstairs. Jessica... I ran up the stairs and burst into the room. No one. I heard screaming again and ran into the bathroom. A hooded figure was trying to drag her away. I went up to him and straight up punched him in the face. He let go of her and staggered backwards. He looked up at me and chuckled.

"Oh... Is this your Prince Charming?" The guy laughs.

"Leave her alone bastard." I snap.

"And if I say no?..." The guy smirks.

I punched him again. "I'll beat the shit out of you."

I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"Dylan!!" I yell.

"Yeah?!" Dylan yells back.

"Call the cops!!" I yell back.

"Okay!!" Dylan yells in response.

"Oh hell no. I ain't going to jail!" The guy yells, kneeing me in the stomach.

I let go in pain and he runs off. I immediately take off after him as he runs out the front door. I stopped and shut the front door in frustration.

"Forget the cops. He's gone." I tell Dylan who nodded and put his cell away.

I ran back up the stairs and into the bathroom. Jessica was in the shower, wrapped in a towel. I could tell she was frozen in fear. I slowly opened the door when she screamed. I immediately pulled her into my embrace.

"Jessica. It's me. Shhh. It's me..." I tell her.

"Put your clothes on. I'll be in the room. Okay?..." I tell her.

She slowly nods her head as I walked out. Why was that man after Jessica?... Who is he?...
