Austin's POV:

I groaned in pain as I laid back down on the hospital bed.

"Austin. Take it easy bro..." Dylan tells me. "Who were you talking to?..."

I winced and sighed. "It was Mia..."

"She's okay!! Omfg! Where is she?!" Dylan asks.

"She's being brought here by a hotel worker." I reply.

"Omfg. Where's Jessica when this happy time is occurring?" Dylan asks.

"She won't be here..." I sighed.

"Why?..." Dylan asks.

"She's been thrown off a balcony on the 3rd floor..." Tears started streaming down my face.

"W-W-What?..." Dylan manages to whisper.

Suddenly my cellphone rings. I pick it up.

Me: Hello?
Nurse: Hello. Is this Austin Mahone?
Me: Yes this is him speaking.
Nurse: Hello Mr. Mahone. I'm calling to inform you of your wife's condition. Sadly she's in critical condition and were trying our absolute best, but we have no guarantee of her awakening. I'm very sorry... I heard you are in the same hospital. We will inform you when she is moved out of the surgery room. Have a nice day.

Have a nice day?! HAVE A NICE DAY?! How the fuck am I supposed to have a nice fucking day when my wife... Er... Jessica is in the fucking hospital in fucking critical condition?! Fuck the nurse!

Just then Mia comes running into my room with a lady.

"Daddy!" Mia yells, jumping onto my bed and hugging me tightly.

I groan in pain, but I hug her. The lady starts to come over to me and I try to sit up.

"No no. It's okay. Please, stay where you are." The lady replies. "I'm Rachel. I hope you feel better and I hope your wife will be okay."

"Thank you so much for bringing my daughter here." I tell her.

"It was the least I could do." Rachel smiles.

She gives Mia a wave and leaves the room. Mia looks into my eyes.

"Where's momma?" She asks me.

"Umm... Baby girl... Your mom might not make it..." I reply with tears in my eyes.

"Momma is dying?!" Mia immediately starts crying. "NO!!! MOMMA CAN'T DIE!!!"

I hug her tightly. "Mia..."

"Daddy! It's all my fault! Momma tried to save me!" Mia cries. "I'm sorry daddy... I was a bad girl..."

"No no no. Don't think that way... Your mom loves you so much... She would do anything for you..." I tell her, stroking her hair.

"B-But if I didn't follow the scary guy then momma wouldn't have gotten hurt..." Mia cries.

"Shhh... It's okay... Your mom will be okay." I tell her, rubbing her back. "You don't know everything your mom's been through. She's still alive and well today."
