I'm Giselle Kane Daughter of Abby Griffin and Marcus Kane. Here I am locked up in skybox another day closer to my eighteenth birthday, if you are wondering why I am here that would be because my mother had an affair with Marcus Kane and had me, after she had another daughter named Clarke, making me a second child. Nobody knows about me apart from my parents, Jaha and my mum's husband, Jake Griffin. From what my dad tells me Jake Griffin got floated because my mum told Chancellor Jaha about Jake going public with a secret, what a wife she is, but than again she's not a very good mother either she only visits me once every two years afraid people will find out about me. The big metal door opened breaking me from my thoughts.
"Daddy?" I asked.
"Hey sweetie"
"What are you doing here? I thought you weren't coming until tomorrow" I asked cautiously he always comes every second day, he was here yesterday. What's he doing back today?
"Change of plans, the Chancellor Jaha is sending 100 prisoners to the ground today you're one of them" he said sadly.
"I don't understand we are not meant to go to the ground yet" Why is this happening?
"I know sweetie, but you're strong you will be just fine, I know you will. Just incase anything happens down there take these to protect yourself, hide them the guards can't see them." He said handing me a gun and knife. I did as he said hiding the knife in my boot and the gun in the secret pocket in my jacket.
"Goodnight sweetheart." Dad said injecting something in my neck, my eyes started to feel very heavy and then all I can see is black.
