Chapter 1: That Summer Night

Felix and I have been friends for 9 years now and I've been through everything with him. His first girlfriend, his first break-up, his first house, multiple jobs, and even his first YouTube video. When we walk down the streets together people either think we are dating or that we are siblings. It can be pretty awkward sometimes when his 'bros' notice him and ask for autographs and pictures because I just have to stand there like a dork and watch, but its worth it if I get to hang out with him. It was a Friday night and Felix and I decided to go out to the carnival that had just opened up after he had finished making his Fridays with Pewdiepie video.
"Hey Marzia!" Felix called up the stairs.

"Yeah Pewdie?" Mariza retorted.

"Me and (y/n) are gonna head out to the carnival, do you want to come?"

"Nah I'm good. You guys go have some fun."

"Okay, thanks Marzia!"

Marzia and Felix had been dating for 4 years now and love each other with all their hearts, but lately they haven't been hanging out as much anymore since they both have to be YouTubers as a full time job.

"Okay (y/n), you ready to get crazy?"Felix asked me hitting my arm.

"Yeah, like hanging out with you isn't crazy enough." I laughed hitting him back. He gave me a glare and started to laugh. We walked out the door and started heading towards the beach where the carnival was being held. It was 4:10pm when we got there and the sun was still high up in the bright blue sky.

"Hey let's go on that ride!" Felix exclaimed while pointing to the Haunted Hotel ride. We buy our tickets and head over to the entrance. We hand our tickets to the operator and hop in the cart. It starts up and we are instantly shot forward. There was things popping out at us left and right, scaring Felix more than me. I laughed every time he jumped and he would punch me in the arm. Just then the ride came to a stop and we sat there for a few minutes thinking that it was supposed to be apart of the ride. After a few more minutes we realized that something was wrong. Felix got up out of the seat making me think that he was going to go get some help, but instead he went over and took a selfie with one of the statues.

"Really Felix?" I said giggling a little.

"What? Fine I'll go get some help" he said walking away.

About 10 minutes later he was back with help and they got the ride going again. After the ride was finished, Felix pulled me over to the bumper cars and told me to get in. Loving bumper cars already, I hop in quickly and start it up. We hit each other multiple times before the ride stopped. We sat there laughing for a while and got out walking over to the cotton candy stand.

"Two sticks please." Felix said. I went to pull out my money to pay, but he stopped me before I got it out. "I got this." He said smiling. I realized I was starting to blush and turned around quickly. Why was I blushing? Did he see me? He handed me the stick with the fluffy goodness and we walked over to the shore.

"Hey do you want to go swimming?" He asked.

"But we don't have our bathing suits."

"Then I'll go buy us some." He said pulling me over to the small swim shop. "Here go put this on." I grabbed the bikini from his hands and went into the dressing room. I walked out and looked in the mirror.

"Jeez you look great in that. You have to get it." I turned around and saw Felix starring at me.

"When did you become a fashion critic?" I joked. We went up to the front counter and bought the swim suits. As we walked out to the beach, groups of fangirls and fanboys surrouned Felix.

"Are you guys dating?" One girl asked.

"No no no we're just friends." We both started to talk over each other rather quickly and awkwardly. "Oh okay." The girl sighed getting out a piece of paper and a pen for Felix to sign.
