Phil
Over the next few weeks, I stayed away from Dan. Made friends with Peej and Chris. Seethed in my jealously and loneliness when I saw a new photo of him and her. But I concentrated on my GCSEs. If Dan was going to act like a dick, then I was going to let him. Anyway, he'd moved on. If he still had an interest he wouldn't have.

Hey Philly! There's a party tonight @ 7. You wanna come? We'll pick you up. It was Peej. I considered it for a few seconds, my fingers hovering over my phone. I did need to get out of the house more.

Sure. We're not crashing it, are we?

No! Well... maybe. Chris knows a guy who's sister is invited and we thought we'd give it a shot. No one will care.

Fine. I'll see you later alligator!

In a while crocodile! I smiled. I had a while yet. I wandered downstairs, where Martyn was sat playing Mario Kart. He tossed me the other remote, smirking.

"Bring it on, bro."

----

We played a few rounds, and we actually drew! I couldn't believe it; I thought I was bound to win! I took a shower and picked some clothes to wear. My usual black skinny jeans would do with... A red Mario shirt. Perfect to match with the Mario theme I had going on. I styled my hair in the way I liked it and put my contacts in. My galaxy jacket and my red converse were waiting for when I needed to leave, but I had time, so I scrolled through my social media. Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Facebook. Always in that order. I sighed when I got to Facebook. There was another photo of Dan and his girlfriend, looking gorgeous. They looked like they were going somewhere fun.

Thankfully, I was interuppted by the ring of the doorbell. I bounded down the stairs, phone, jacket and shoes in hand and pulled it open.

"Are you ready to PARRTTTAYYYY?" PJ yelled. I smiled.

"Yeah. Let me put my shoes on and then we'll can go." I began to put them on, tying them up. Martyn made his entrance into the hallway.

"Party, eh? Have fun, kiddo," he ruffled my hair, making me uncomfortable, "but be back by 12."

"God, you're such a Dad. See you later, Mart." I laughed, following Chris and Peej out of the door.

"How's your revision going?" I asked to break the silence that was currently going on.

"Alright. Though, someone keeps interrupting it, saying he needs my sex. He's like a puppy." Chris smirked while PJ blushed.

"Yeah about that- oh wait, a new Pokèmon!" Peej began, before pulling out his phone.

"Aaaaannnndddd we've lost him. How's the Dan situation?"

"Same as always. Shit. They're going somewhere tonight. Looks like they'll have fun." I sighed, kicking up some gravel.

"Maybe it's the same party?" Chris joked. I didn't say anything, but thoughts began to spiral around my head again. What if he was going to the same party? It was very unlikely, but it could happen.

----

Finally, we arrived at the party, and Chris made PJ put away his phone. As soon as we stepped through the door, I could tell that the atmosphere was... wild. In the living room, people were dancing and grinding to music, holding drinks in their hands. In the kitchen, people stood talking loudly, getting drinks and snacks. The hallway and stairs were filled with people milling around, or couples trying to suck each other's faces off.
