When I Close My Eyes Forever

That day, was supposed to be the day, when they finally got to celebrate. When they were finally free from the fear and the latent malicious grasp of vengeance. That day, when cheers were to be bellowed, and glasses, raised for salutes. And perhaps..some curry for the feast. Marching through the Chamber of Seals beneath the Goura Labyrinth, they expected a view of glorious triumph, held up high by the one they knew as the descendants of the Colthearts, known as the Edge Fencer, protector of the Village and its secret.

They were wrong.

Several minutes ago...

"Can't really believe you're that trusting, human!" The Summon Creature, Goura, came back to its normal size, after Edgar restores its fractioned power and soul from his Mono Shift Gem.

"Whew. Not a bad thing, I guess." The Edge Fencer, Edgar examined his body and found a small hole near his heart, in the shape of the Summonite Gem.

"Edgar! Are you alright with a wound like that!?!" His Summon Crature, a half-angel and half-demon, sounds panicked.

"Don't shout too much, Dinah. I know you're tired already."

They knew just how tired they are. After simultaneously battled Lynn, controlled by her Master through a Bond, Guren, which, in turn, possessed Goura, then unto fighting Guren Goura, he definitely knew just how much stress she could take. His sore arms and legs, along with the Noble Buster, the sword made out of the Gem of Light, bear witness upon the battle that rages below here. Not to mention the fragmented purple seal that holds Goura, his now-useless Daemon Edges of the 4 Elements, shattered beyond repair upon the floors of the Chamber.

"Uh oh, I can sense people here and there! I should........I.....should....no..."

"You might wanna go away from here, mini." Dinah retorted.

"..Maybe we should..."

He could sensed something amiss with Goura.

"I..will....I will.."

A voice he knew right from their battles before. The voice of vengeance, from Guren!

"He still lives!?!" Dinah panicked.

Giving them no time to react, he raised his right arm. A Daemon Edge fragment, no longer than 2 feet, levitated, its tip filled to the brim with revenge. The one plotted for years past.

"I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!! EDGE FENCER!!"

With rage, the blade flew straight to Dinah, its sharp edge reflected fear sourced from her eyes and the scream she echoed.

"Dinah!!!"

During her life as a Summon Creature, Dinah had experienced kinds of misfortunes in her realm of Sapureth as a half-angel and half-demon, an anomaly amidst all, where the border between good and evil was as clear as the borders between the Light and Darkness that separates the Realm. Summoned only for war and greed, empowered by lusts of mankind, she slowly began to despise humanity.

Until she stumbled upon the Rampage rabbit's territory.

Until that young blonde man came, with his blue-hair friend rescued her.

Teaching her of balance, happiness, fun, and love. A real discovery for her life. The one turning her frown to smile.

And at that nanosecond, the same young blonde man, once, under the blue sky, shared the oath to protect each other, the one she loved to share her curry with, stood before her. What she had witnessed was beyond her horror. The blade went straight through, indeed. Alas, it is not through her sternum. But through his. The blade glints, having its toast of Edgar's blood and flesh as its glow died and stay embedded. And the young boy, fell upon his own puddle of blood.
